My partner and I had a beautiful three night stay at Yumeji. We stayed in the Taki room. This was the more western style room. The bed was very comfortable and the room itself was beautifully fitted out. We loved using the spa and my partner saw his first shooting star. The breakfast every day was our highlight, the food was 12/10! It was nice to try foods we hadn’t tried before, and we loved every bite! Our hosts were so friendly, kind and attentive, we are so thankful for such a great stay!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and wow, this beautiful place did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in everything was perfect. The room was gorgeous, the owners were absolutely lovely and welcoming, they've obviously so much love into this place and it shows. The cherry on top of this experience was the traditional Japanese breakfast, uneal, so delicious, the time they've put into making it is evident. We will definitely be back in the future and I'd recommend it to anyone whose up at Mt Tamborine.

We had an incredible Baby Moon here. The experience was amazing from start to finish. Their attention to detail was impeccable. The traditional Japanese breakfast will blow you away, 5 hours of preparation went into making it. We have never experienced a place that puts so much love and thought into every detail. We will be back!

My husband and I booked a night at Yumeji and it was such a relaxing experience. We booked Tsuru which came with the ensuite bath tub- not a miss! The couple host are absolutely lovely and passionate people making sure we had the best experience. 10/10 breakfast- went above and beyond my expectations and was made with a lot of love and professionalism- super satiating authentic Japanese breakfast! Highly recommend Yumeji!!

An amazing stay in a traditional Japanese B&B. The room I stayed in was faithful to every detail of a traditional Japanese tatami mat room. I even had my own hinoki pine bath. Breakfast would not be out of place in an upmarket traditional ryokan in Japan, and it was better than most breakfasts I have had in Japan. The hosts, Louise and Hideyo, truly understand the notion of omotenashi.
