Great location, easy to get to. Was there on business so used communal rooms which were adequate and no interruptions. Extensive work being completed in outside garden area so looks like a mud pit but should look great once finished.

I stayed here for a week on business and it was a really nice place to stay. I opted for a two bedroom apartment because I was travelling with a child, but I wasn't expecting the room to be anywhere near as large as it was. You could comfortably live there. A fully-equipped kitchen and laundry (with dryer) was incredibly helpful, and the beds were comfortable.
We stayed in the North Tower with a view of the beach on side of the apartment and a view of the city out the other.
The room had a dedicated underground parking space as well with direct lift access to all floors.
The location is great: a three minute walk to Tedder Avenue, which is full of cafes and restaurants, a five minute drive to Australia Fair shopping centre and Surfer's Paradise, and a one minute walk to the beach.
My only critique is that the apartment could have benefited from some more atmospheric lighting (lamps) as the energy saving bulbs in the main lights don't create the most comforting ambience in the evenings.
Outside of that, we liked it so much that we've already booked another stay.

Our family has been visiting Xanadu for some years now. This year however, our plans changed when my dad became seriously ill. The Xanadu team made it very easy to manage my booking and (perhaps) have no idea how much this is appreciated in a time of emotional stress. Always stay at Xanadu when we visit the Gold coast. Never disappointed. Great views, well appointed comfortable units and a bit quieter than surfers. Great for spotting whales as they migrate up the coast. Staff were very accommodating when we asked for last minute late checkout due to sick child..thank you.

No word of all the outdoor facilities being closed when we booked. Booked as a large group with lots of kids so needed a pool and bbq area massively. All closed. The warning we got was an email a couple of weeks before. No apology from staff at all only ‘well, there’s bbqs at the beach’. Such a shame, could have been lovely. You could tell the staff were sick of being asked about it but we paid full rack rate to be there, and no pool, no bbq, and mud everywhere.
