Excellent location, great beach views from most rooms. The apartments were spotless and well appointed and very good value outside of peak season. The rooms seem to vary, mine had no block out blinds on the main living room ? and the bed was a bit hard for my liking. The access to lower levels to the car park is diabolical so if you have a big car it is a pain.
Check in was from front desk in apartments across the road but not a problem and the ladies were very efficient.
I would definitely stay again.

Stayed two nights for birthday celebration.
We booked 2 bed room panorama view apartments via Expedia. From the word “panorama”, we were expecting panoramic ocean view however the room was back of the building and not quite the ocean view room (Ocean view from the balcony only)
So if you are booking “panorama view” room, do not expect ocean view.
In saying that apartment is super clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Reception ladies are very kind and professional. Superb location with nice restaurants and beautiful beach across the road.
Overall we are very very happy with our stay and we would really love to come back again 😊

We had a fabulous 6-night stay in a 2 bedroom X Kirra apartment. A seemless AH check-in, friendly helpful receptionist when needed. You can't beat the location close to cafes, bars, restaurants and across the road from the stunning Kirra Beach. We'll be back!

I stayed in a 2 bedroom panoramic high level apartment and it was clean and modern with great views.
Location is fantastic as it’s right across from the beach and restaurants and cafes near by.
Check in was fast and easy and the lovely staff managed to get me early check in as I had a funeral to go to and needed to get ready.
Great experience and highly recommend X Kirra Apartments!

It’s such a shame we won’t be returning to X Kirra because we really loved the apartment, it was clean and comfortable, view is amazing. We would’ve had a perfect stay if management accepted our request to change travel dates to end of month due to cyclone Alfred (Airbnb showed lots of available dates in March). We gave them 5 day notice which was outside of their cancellation policy and they value profit over customer satisfaction. With being put out $1400 we couldn’t afford to reschedule our holiday so we still came and had to leave a day early due to fear of flight cancellation. We had one good day albeit of the wind and 1.5 days of miserable rain. The wind was so loud and intense at night I struggled to sleep due to being on level 12.
It was a huge shame because the apartment and location were perfect if the weather was normal. We don’t mind rain but it was the fear of a once a hundred year cyclone and how it might impact road condition and flights made us super anxious the entire trip especially when travelling with our young child.
For that reason we won’t be returning to X Kirra for our future Gold Coast holidays.
***responding to owner response: when we made the booking request change on Airbnb on room 1204, March still had lots of availability to shuffle us around. And when I called the reception, there was no mention of a credit to stay in November instead, I was just told there would be no refund, no change, and I could cancel my stay entirely too see if they could rent the room out to someone else with no guarantee. I also explained to them this was our baby moon as I was 30 weeks pregnant and it was our last chance to travel for a while. Plus we were coming with a 2 year old and we were concerned of our safety in the cyclone. All of that couldn’t result in any other option apart from cancelling our stay with no refunds. That’s why I felt like profit was put above our safety and customer satisfaction***
