This was our second stay at the Vibe Hotel Gold Coast, having previously stayed for a week in February 2024 and again in March 2025. While we did encounter some minor issues on both occasions, the staff were incredibly professional, prompt, and accommodating in resolving them. During our most recent stay, our air conditioning wasn’t working, but the team acted efficiently and swiftly moved us to a new room on the same level with the same view, which we really appreciated.
We love the suite and everything it has to offer—the daily breakfast inclusion is a fantastic touch. When booking, we were meant to receive a wine and platter on arrival, but unfortunately, due to a system issue, this couldn’t be provided. However, we completely understand that this was beyond the staff’s control.
The pool, spa area, and Driftwood Social are also highlights—beautifully relaxing and reasonably priced.
Overall, we highly recommend the Vibe Hotel Gold Coast and will definitely be returning!

We enjoyed our stay. Overall was pleasant. Most staff were nice. Buffet breakfast was lovely and the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was tidy and housekeeping were accommodating to our requests when we needed something. There was an old, large spiderweb on the outside balcony door which turned us off though. Pool area was acceptable, with a good size outdoor spa. Although we experienced that if we wanted to swim in the evening, and have some peace and quiet, that wasn't possible, as there was a group of males who were loud and hogged the pool area, which ruined our moment for some quiet time, which was a shame. Bathroom is dated, with the shower being inside the bathtub, so if you're older, you would find it a struggle getting in and out. We had no problem though. When we checked out, the male staff member didn't bother to ask us how our stay was, which we found rude and unprofessional, as usually when one checks out, that's a standard question and rule working in the Hospitality industry. Look, we had a nice time overall and made the most of our holiday stay, but if you were to ask me if we'd stay here again, the answer would be a quick answer - No.

One of the best places to stay in Surfers. So close to everything you need with the beautiful view of the ocean and the river. The facilities for the breakfast cafe, to the room and to the pool/ bar area was comfortable, clean and felt very relaxing. The staff deserve more than 5 stars, they were all so lovely and approachable. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway that doesn’t break the bank. ⭐️🤩

Thank you for a wonderful experience during our stay. We truly appreciated the free drink vouchers for my son’s birthday—it was such a lovely gesture. One suggestion for the future would be to include non-alcoholic options, like mocktails, as not everyone drinks soft or energy drinks. Also please add a little sofa or couch in the room next time:)
I’d like to give a special thanks to Vanessa from buffet breakfast restaurant, and Amanda at reception and Sarah for being so polite, welcoming, and respectful. These ladies at the front desk and in the restaurant Vanessa are truly beautiful inside and out. Amanda & Vanessa, you were especially amazing, and your kindness made our stay even more special. Vanessa special thanks for my son’s special ice chocolate drinks. Hopefully see you next time for another great experience. Thank you, ladies, and God bless!

We were extremely disappointed with our experience at Vibe Hotel. Upon checking in and entering our room, we immediately noticed that it had not been cleaned— the bed was unmade, there were crumbs on the table, and overall, the space was in an unacceptable state.
We returned to reception to report the issue and expressed our dissatisfaction. Given the circumstances, we opted to request a refund and left.
Additionally, the hotel’s general cleanliness was concerning. The interior lifts and public bathrooms were noticeably unkempt, with dirty towels left in the foyer bathroom and garbage bags on the floor of the lift.
Based on our experience, we do not recommend staying here. Cleanliness and basic housekeeping should be a top priority for any hotel, and unfortunately, this property did not meet those expectations.
