Unfortunately the rooms could have been cleaned better...particularly in between the couch cushions and the bathtub. Otherwise the rooms were lovely with all the amenities required for our stay.
I could not believe we were required to purchase the pool towels. I found this to be ridiculous! I travel quite a bit and have not encountered this before....not a good look.
The location was great! A short walk to the hub of activity but yet away from the hustle and bustle for relaxation.
The service by reception and staff at the cafe were wonderful. They were welcoming, approachable and friendly.

We belong to Accor Vacation Club so have stayed many times before. However this time I found the rooms to be a little less in the cleaning area than before. Little things but noticeable.
No handwash in shower container nor next to basin. Apparently these rooms are due for refurbishment soon so the tiles in bathroom and sad door handles can be overlooked. Also recycling still left in cupboard. Also new saucepan required as black Teflon is coming off easily.

Overall a great stay, but a couple of things could be improved on. We really liked the location, outlook and facilities. The room was nice and we would stay there again, but providing feedback below on things that could have made the stay better.
We're a family of 3 there for 5 nights. No spare toilet paper roll was provided, which we weren't aware of until it ran out and couldn't find any in the cupboards. When I realised, it took hours to be able to get a new one because they didn't have a way to get anything for us prior to 9am when reception opened. I tried to call reception that morning and didn't realise it would divert to an off-site out of hours manager who was unable to help and advised to wait until the cafe opened. When the cafe opened I went to see them and was waved off and told I had to wait until 9am when reception opened. It just seems like a housekeeping mistake possibly that no spare was left, but still not great to have to wait hours to be able to get it sorted out.
The soap dispensers in the bathroom were mounted at an uncomfortable height. I'm 5ft and it wasn't easy for me to reach, and with a child it was impossible for him to reach and he had to be lifted up every time he needed to wash his hands. The quilt on the bed was quite stained as well which was off putting.

While we really enjoyed our stay and found the amenities very good. The apartment is well laid out but the decor needs an update as it is looking a bit tired. The reception and all the staff were very helpful and friendly but I was totally taken aback directed to pay for outdoor towels and advised to use the towels provided in the unit and launder them ourselves. Which is fine but there was only 6 towels in the unit supplied for 4 guests with only one floor towel allowed per bathroom. And when I asked for a couple of more towels I was told that we were Self-contained guest and as such no more towels would be forthcoming. Self-contained was used like it was a lessor class of guest.
So that beautiful resort and lovely staff were hamstrung by the pure pettiness off a couple of towels for your guests.

Love staying at Ultiqa Freshwater. Rooms are large, always clean and fresh scents. Large opening doorways to a patio. Close to all that Broadbeach has to offer.
The pool area is protected from the buildings so not impacted by windy days.
Great little coffee shop, with a good variety of foods amd drinks. Some decent wine and slushies which is perfect for beside the pool area.
