I’m so glad I found an excellent dentist on the Gold Coast! Dr David is incredible - he’s knowledgeable, authentic and gentle. He has the perfect balance of upbeat banter that makes you feel comfortable while also being 100% professional and doing a very thorougher job every time.
Assistant Jess has the kind of bubbly personality that puts you at ease & receptionist Sindy goes out of her way to help (and is also fun to chat with in the waiting room). They make a great team.
I was unhappy with my 4 front teeth - David explained my options (his preference being braces), but I opted for veneers. I left every appointment feeling well taken care of and excited about the process & I'm so thrilled with how they turned out! (Actual veneers themselves were made by Cosmetic Dental Design). The pricing is very reasonable too. Clearly, I would recommend True Dental :)

I took my 7 year old to see Dr Tate and have his teeth cleaned and checked. Both Dr Tate and his pink haired assistant kept my son calm and explained everything they were doing with him. My son was so relaxed at having his teeth done here that he told me I could wait in the waiting room. I had my teeth cleaned and checked at the same time and I found Dr Tate to be gentle and through. I needed an x-ray and their brand new machine was really user friendly. They claim Medicare and private health rebate on the spot and you can make appointments online often for the same day. They will also accept walk in patients. Over all I've very impressed with Dr Tate and his team at True Dental. They are a great new addition to the Gold Coast dental scene.

Had the most pleasant experience today at True dental. All receptionists and dental assistant staff were so so friendly and welcoming.
Dr. David is very reassuring and very attention to detail ensuring the best results possible! Excited to be on this journey with the True Dental Team!

Location has no problem with parking, staff are friendly. Place is very neat and clean. Above all Dr. Tate is very experienced, kind and talk you through the process. He does not mock around, straight to business.
I am a nervous wreck on a dental chair, however my experience with Dr. Tate seemed like I just took one big deep breath and whoala! My filling was done. It was quick but very thorough.

True Dental was absolutely fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it immediately felt like home.
Dr Tate was amazing! Incredibly thorough, communicative, and professional, while still making me feel at ease.
I had been attending a different dentist recommended by my parents for years, but will absolutely be sticking with True Dental from now on.
They took tremendous care of both myself and my wife, and it was an amazing experience (coming from someone who doesn't like his 6 month trip to the dentist!!)
