We booked two units one sub penthouse and one three bedroom unit for our annually family holiday. I was so disappointed and embarrassed to make my son and his family stay in this unit(2901) we had booked for them, dirty marked walls and floors, microwave didn’t work(was replaced) a very cluttered unit and no space at all for the children. Suggested management they need to look at the units before they ask for the same money as the nicer units offered. We had seen a few units before we booked at Wave when visiting friends and they were nice but what we ended up with was terrible, far from those we seen.
Sub penthouse was nice and plenty of room so our son’s family stayed with us and only used their unit to sleep in. Fabulous location but certainly not what I thought for the money( and I don’t mind paying if you get what you pay for)we travel a lot and I don’t think they compare with others up the east coast for the money they ask.

Great place to stay. Excellent location in middle of restaurants area etc, trams and buses short walk away, lovely, friendly and obliging staff, large, clean and tidy rooms, (loved the views from 26th floor) construction site next door little noisy at times but never an issue. Wonderful 5 week holiday made better by our stay at The Wave. Cheers guys, we'll be back for sure.

OMG I would never stay here again. The girls on reception are useless. We spoke to several other customers who thought the same. No recognition of basement levels, the lifts don't work when you are told from a text to park in b1. The fields don't tell you properly how to open the door of your room. Just a f.......g joke.. everyone feels the same. I was told I would have ocean views. On level 6 with nothing.. Never again.

when on holidays comfort is a priority. not at this place. the lounge is straight out of hell. air conditioning doesn't work. can not close .you couldn't pay me to stay here again.

We're currently booked to check in to the resort tomorrow.
The cost for the room has DROPPED from $2250 to $1825. I called the reservation team who WOULD NOT match their own advertised price because it was within the cancellation period, never have I had an experience of a resort/hotel not matching their own advertised price regardless of the time period.
Pretty poor form.
