Stayed in the Penthouse with friends April 2025. Amazing facilities. Great room, Views amazing. Hotel is central to everything. Walking distance. Had a little issue and discussed with Steve (Manager). He sorted out our issue to our complete satisfaction. Awesome customer service by Steve and his reception staff. Cannot fault the service. 5 star rating here. Will certainly stay here again and will refer friends and relatives. My wife and I are over staying at Surfers Paradise. Family vacation with four generations, 74 to age 4 and we all had a blast. The rooms are huge it gave us enough space that Nan could watch her tv shows and rest in the lounge room while the main living space was used by everyone else.
We were on floor 31 and the views are magnificent from both sides absolutely stunning. We were there while construction was going on below and you could honestly bearly hear it. Mr 4 actually loved watching the diggers, crane and dump trucks. Central location so we didn’t use our cars and could walk everywhere. Staff are amazing and happy and keen too listen to us chat they are so welcoming, nothing was an issue. Can highly recommended Wave for a vacation and will definitely be back. Can’t thank the staff enough for their hospitality.

Our Mumma + Daughter stay at The Wave was wonderful. The location is right in the heart of Broadbeach, everything is close including the beach, the view and the ocean breeze is the best therapy. The staff and Manager went above and beyond to make us happy. We made a request before arriving and it was done, no issue only thanks for the pre-check in requirement. We can’t wait to go back.

This was one of the worst stays I’ve experienced on Broadbeach. My partner and I came here on a couples trip with friends and requested 2 double beds and got 4 singles as no notes were put in the system. There was no apology, we were just told that no notes were entered into the system and they could fix it up “complimentary” the next morning, even though this was their mistake. Then on checkout, we were told by the receptionist that it wouldn’t be possible to hold onto a key and leave our bags at reception until we needed to leave for our flight. Even though there is a box for key returns at reception during unstaffed hours? We did not feel welcomed here with the staff being so rude and unaccommodating. Even just a warm greeting or a “thank you for your stay” would’ve made this stay a little more comfortable.

Loved our stay with family at The Wave Resort! Just returned from a week in a 2 bedroom apartment. Location was incredible, so close to beach/amenities and right in the heart of Broadbeach. Apartment was super spacious, amazing views, wish we could live in it! Would recommend and will definitely be back.
