I stayed at The Atrium Resort at 510 Marine Parade, Biggera Waters, QLD 4216, Australia with my husband and adult son in their 2-bedder unit. This hotel room is undoubtedly the worst hotel room that I have stayed in during the past 25 years that we have been travelling for golf in Australia. Not only is the apartment filthy, the service provided by the reception lady was also the worst ever that I had experienced. The rattan chairs & table had numerous dark stains and blacken food pieces embedded inside them. The pots, plates and cutlery were oily and had dark food stains on them. It took me nearly an hour to wash and scrubbed them clean! The amenities provided were also scanty, probably enough for only 1 person staying 1-2 nights. Thank goodness that I brought my own toiletries!. There was a cockroach running in the kitchen and my blanket had a blood stain on it. The reception lady refused to provide me with 1 more packet of laundry powder, although we stayed 5 nights as "they are not a hotel". When I replied that I will not stay at this hotel again, she told me "not necessary for me to stay there again"
Indeed, we will NOT stay here at The Atrium Resort ever again, especially when the bare minimum level of cleanliness and services have not been provided! So, visitors please be cautioned!

I really enjoyed this place. I actually enjoyed waking up and having a coffee on the balcony. It has some very nice sights when you are looking. The water garden is so peaceful.

Dust everywhere and you can smell it. My son had asthma because of the dust on the walls, on the furniture and beds. Very bad experience. The worst place I have ever rented. Very bad service and housekeeping. Old furniture and the bathrooms were disgusting. Housekeeping staff were impolite. Thick layers of dust on the ceiling fans, walls. Provided towels all have yellow stains. The apartment smell was like pee. The overall experience is the worst in our whole life as a family. Don’t recommend such place.

We recently stayed at the atrium in a ground floor water front 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment and was extremely happy with our stay. The roof top pool was amazing and the view was next level, the kids enjoyed the games room and the outside pool, sauna and gardens were very clean and tidy. The location on the Broadwater for us was perfect as its central to all the theme parks without loud noises from the busy city. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others

I recently stayed at these apartments, and it was a disappointing experience. We were up getting some much needed respite between my wifes breast cancer treatment. Unfortunately, when issues were raised, the staff showed reluctance to address the problem effectively, leaving us with a less-than-pleasant stay. Although friendly staff (maintenance man) tried to solve the pest problem sadly using spray and wipe wont kill cockroaches and they returned the next night. They mustve hid behind the broken tiles in the bathroom which were being held together with duct tape. Overall, I cannot recommend these apartments due to the significant pest problem and the lack of resolution from the management.
For the hefty price of $2500 for a 5-night stay, our expectations were high, but sadly, the experience fell far short. Blankets were stained and needed replacing. Disappointing and certainly not worth the premium price tag. Also for anyone planing on staying here if there was ability to rank it 0 stars thats exactly what it deserves. The room we stayed in was 1E. Aparently the owners are delusion when it comes to what this aprtment is worth! Burn it down and start again!
