Dr Mark Jeffrey and the team at Surfers Health medical have been my GP for approximately 3 years now. Dr Jeffrey is the most caring, understanding, and kind hearted GP I’ve ever had. I could not recommend him any more highly. The service from the front office team is exemplary despite being an extremely busy practice, they are kind, patient and respectful.

I am a visitor to the Gold Coast and injured my hand just after arriving at the hotel. After some first aid by staff, we all agreed that it should be checked by a doctor. This was the closest medical centre, and I popped in and explained my situation. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and said that they could fit me in, but it was $90 upfront with about $42 back from Medicare. I had to fill out some paperwork but only had a short wait. I saw Dr John Wilson, who greeted me with a smile, listened to what had happened and did a quick, but thorough examination. He recommended an xray to be safe. He was very professional and friendly at the same time. He also was comfortable working with an Auslan interpreter, as I am Deaf and it's rare to find anyone who is so comfortable with the interpreter. This would be a great practice for residents in the area. They were especially nice and helpful to an accident prone tourist in need. Thank you for the great service.

I’ve known Dr Mark Jeffery for many years. He is an outstanding doctor and I feel incredibly fortunate to have met him!
I have been battling several complex chronic conditions in past few years and if it wasn’t for Dr Jeffery I would be in a wheelchair or worse by now. He is a true-life saviour!

Fabulous successful surgery for a potentially cancerous sunspot and skin lesion. Meticulously removed, without any pain, recovered quickly and perfectly. Sincerely grateful to Dr Jeffrey for his professional work and highly recommended for anyone with these dangerous potentially cancerous conditions. I have no scars it looks perfect. I met a lady who left her cancerous sunspot and it had already spread and the surgery required cutting the side of her face to remove all the cancer that had grown underneath and she had an extensive scar from the incision. I am grateful for taking action without any further delay. 😊

I’m from the US and visit the Gold Coast regularly. I’ve had 2 instances where I’ve picked up something while here and needed to see a doctor. I also needed to replace a prescription damaged in transit. Both times Michelle was there in reception and I saw Dr. Wilson. It was all so easy, so efficient and very reasonable cost for an uninsured tourist! I call them my Australian doctor’s office now. :)
