Went for lunch today, we expected it to be a little busy given the public holiday but were really disappointed in our experience. We had to order from the bistro, which was fine, but were given no indication of wait time when doing so. Our meals took well over an hour to come, and the waitress didn’t even acknowledge the wait. The kids meals were barely warm. I appreciate these things are sometimes beyond your control, but some basic communication I.e. flag the wait at ordering and either apologise for the wait or thank us for waiting when delivering the meals would have gone a long way. A little customer service brush up for your staff would serve well.

Went for the dogs and the view. Loved the 2 dogs Cooper and Norman. Loved the view. Loved the 2 peacocks. Next time we’ll stay for lunch instead of just drinks.
Love the fact animals are so important… so awesome ❤️

These beautiful St. Bernards are stuck in a room for people to gawk at, and it's absolutely heartbreaking. Their owners really need to rethink their priorities and put the dogs' welfare first. Pets aren't attractions; they're living beings who deserve kindness, respect, and compassion. I can only imagine how long they've been trapped in there, day in and day out, with no real freedom or life beyond the room.

The restaurant located at the top of the mountain has stunning views, making it a great place to visit and dine during the holidays. The scenery of the forest is incredibly beautiful, and enjoying a meal while taking in the lovely views is a true delight.
However, Waiting over one hour will be too long.

We visited for lunch, we have been here before for the views and it never disappoints. It was really busy (Saturday lunch) we had booked so got a great table with a view. The menu is varied and good quality. Bar service was quick. Every member of staff was friendly and efficient. A lovely long lunch with friends for us and we will be back. Recommend it highly if you’re visiting mt Tamborine.
