I wish the resident dogs were a bit more active. Pork ribs special was great. Parmi was a bit dry but good overall. The staff came out and took all the umbrellas down claiming the wind was too strong. But didn’t offer to assist anyone with changing table numbers for orders as it was too hot to sit in the sun. We had all only just ordered (several tables) so they could have warned us before ordering. Some gluten free options.

Amazing! This place has stunning views of the valley and the food, wow so good. We were very impressed. Prices are reasonable and big serves of food. Bonus having the dogs about and friendly staff. Highly recommend

Love love love this place. A view to die for while eating excellent tasty meals. The scallops were cooked to perfection and my Beef and Guinness pie was super tasty. Wish I lived closer as it would be a regular point for meals.

Have been going to this hotel for the past few years and have been loving it. Last visit on the 11th July 2024 was not good. Food came out cold and steak was terrible. Medium rare scotch fillet steak was over cooked and looked more like sizzle steak. The garlic seafood topper for $15 was served in a small ramekin as was the pepper sauce(which is normal) but for $15 you would expect a bit more. I was unaware of the $15 charge until we left when my sister said she had paid the extra money but didn’t feel like it was worth it, as it was so small. Seafood chowder which we usually adore came out cold and had to be taken back. Was not as nice as usual … in fact we didn’t eat it all. Such a disappointment that this lovely pub has let their food go downhill so badly. 5 meals and 5 disappointed guests. Might just go for coffee next time we have friends come to the coast. On the up side the atmosphere is beautiful and the dogs gorgeous.

Lovely lunch today, meals took awhile, but worth the wait, they were extremely busy on a beautiful sunny day so they were doing their best. Meals were a good size, there were 4 of us and everyone was happy with their meals. Beautiful outlook, gorgeous dogs and a really nice pub with well kept gardens and nice decor inside the pub. Definitely would go back and have another meal.
