Beautiful practice, friendly staff
My first time at the Clinic it was easy to find parking was available. The doctor I saw was thorough , caring, knowledgeable. Very different to the usual cookie cutter, get you in and out type thing. Highly recommend.

I have never had a skin test. I’ve been an avid sun worshipper most of my life. I wanted to see a woman so I called Dr Donna Armstrong’s office. I was told there was a 3 to 4 week wait I didn’t want to wait that long I was nervous. This wonderful receptionist named Jenny said I have somebody else I can highly recommend and you could see her next week. When I arrived, I was greeted by Jenny and didn’t have to wait long to be introduced to Viv who was very professional caring nurse, I instantly liked and she put me at ease. Then I met Dr Jacintha Kannairan She looks so young. How could she be a Dr she looked 19 and I hope she knew her stuff, which she did indeed. She patiently explained what she was doing. Her and Viv worked so well together and both were happy. Before long the three of us were laughing and I was in awe of her work. I have a very good friend who works at Cedar Sinai hospital in Los Angeles she’s a surgeon and she complimented Jacinthas work on my hand. I’m honestly disappointed. I don’t have any more cancers to be taken out, I love spending time with Jacintha and Viv. They made it an incredibly positive experience. I think they are both now my new best friends lol. I use to be a patient of this practice and would not recommend.
My son had a few consults when he was a newborn. He was bulk billed for his first consult. On completion of his second review I was told the visit was bulk billed. I received a phone call the next day saying I owed money for the consult yesterday. Charlie the receptionist could not tell me why 24hrs later I was to be charged for this consult. I paid for the consult and then emailed to ask for an explanation. Tina responded with what she thought could be the reason and that she would follow it up. I never received a reply with the explanation. A few other interactions made me aware of the lack of communication between these staff members.
I found Tina rude. I work in Health and along side administration staff closely. I was always taken back by the way she spoke to myself and other patients.
I don’t live close to Southport Doctors and only went there as I followed Dr Norman from her previous practice. I have since found a practice closer to home with friendly receptionists and clear communication.
I want to mention that I did see Dr Armstrong twice and can say she is amazing. I would definitely recommend seeing her if you are to visit Southport Doctors. She was very knowledgeable, kind, on time and never over charged her appointments.

From the warm welcome of Jan at reception, to the friendliness and professionalism of Dr Read and nurse Angela - I had the best experience and treatment! Dr Read is so approachable and so highly skilled at his specialty, there was no other doctor I would trust with my procedure. Surgery itself was pain-free and the artistry of his suturing is unparalleled. If you’re wondering about it or unsure about it, give them a call. You are in the most capable hands possible.

Dr Read is the best, had both our boys done as newborns 2 weeks old, friendly receptionist & nurse assistant. Really happy with Dr Read, had no issues at all. Highly recommend.
