Stayed at 21st floor. Nice view.
Cons: Front desk leaves at 5pm.
Small cockroaches roam at night at T&B.

Do not book this place if you’re on a family holiday! This was seriously so bad, we’ve been refunded in full for our stay after we left the first night.
The resident on floor 13 smokes so much marijuana that the entire floor completely reeks, to the point we could even smell it inside our room down the hall.
After pulling out the futon which is the ‘single bed’ for my 3 year old daughter, we found a small clear bag with white powder still in it!
Honestly horrific thinking about if my 3 year old got her hands on that.
Apparently drug use here is an ongoing issue. Aside from this the cleaning is appalling. Not only the drugs left from a previous guest but crumbs still on the couch, holes in the bedsheets, and not even a doona cover.
The only saving grace was the receptionist Tamara who has great customer service and facilitated our refund.
Really awful start to our family holiday.

I really love Sierra grand, the staff at the front desk are really lovely and the views and rooms are nice. We used to stay here often for short stays. Love how it is opposite the tram, pacific fair, short work to the beach and to broadbeach. Love it! I recommend for sure!!

We enjoyed our stay at Mantra Sierra despite a few hiccups with bedding arrangements (requested King & Queen and arrived to a King & 2 x singles). Thankfully the caretaking staff were able to join the single beds for my mother & baby.
We loved the ample space in all the rooms - especially the primary suite - the bathtub was amazing for evening bubble baths. Our little one also had space for her mat to enjoy tummy time.
Overall we enjoyed our stay which was value for money , great location & ample space for us all.

We were incredibly disappointed by the condition of our 3-bedroom apartment on arrival. The almost $1000 a night (christmas period) and four-star rating was not reflected in the condition of the apartment.
We were left feeling dirty and not wanting to use anything, it was also unhealthy for anyone let alone a 4-month pregnant woman with over 1.5metres of mould all across the living room ceiling.
Upon bringing up our concerns with the Mantra team, it was confirmed that the apartment had someone living in it and the keys had just been handed over. It was evident minimal (if any) cleaning had been completed and maintenance was required. The Mantra team confirmed they did not have time to this before our stay - we booked months ahead!
We have been promised a partial refund, but almost 7 weeks later we are still waiting for this to be processed with minimal communication from the hotel - we have many ignored emails and calls from them.
- Mould: huge amount of mould coming from the air con. Roughly two metres across the top of the ceiling in living area, and along the outline of the ceiling on the other side of the room.
- Air con: dripping from vent down the wall
- Walls are filthy in all rooms - marks, dents and chunks of food.
- Light not working in first bedroom
- Curtains filthy
- Windows filthy
- Range hood filthy
- Carpet stains
- Cockroach x2 - including one that ran over a guests bed in the middle of the night
- Carpet damp in entry to first bedroom caused my condensation dripping from aircon. Maintenance confirmed an aircon specialist needed to repair.
- Bathroom tiles had marks all on them
- Under beds are filthy
- Shower and tap leaking/don’t turn off properly in the main bathroom.
- Cupboards in kitchen were filthy
- Wardrobe skirtings filled with dirt and dust
- Dining room chair broken
