Didn’t get any help was there for a week, not a group session, not a psychology session.
They take away prescribed medications they say you are allowed to bring during intake.
They do not allow medicinal weed, though at intake they say they do allow it.
Kristy on L2 is a covert bully, if she doesn’t like you she’ll try get you kicked out for one reason or another, kept calling me by a name she knows triggers me after asking many times for her not to. It was on purpose after a while.
Also there’s mould underneath their air vents, roofs and in bathrooms…
Worst experience and I’ve been to 7 different clinics due to my depression. STAY AWAY from this place, if you’re coming in for depression or CPTSD
Unless you have an ED; they seem to be priority.
The food was nice.
Heaps of nice nurses on L2 but Kirsty has ruined it for all of them, can’t trust one; can’t trust any.
I was really starting to feel comfortable and that’s when Kristy decided to tell management she could smell weed, when l I hadn’t had any that morning, so how can we smell it? Plus a doctor prescribed it to me it’s not like I had illegal medication. She wasn’t assigned to my room either, so what’s she doing in there…
Can’t speak for the other levels, but this experience was pointless, and a waste of everyone’s time. Thanks a lot Robina “private” Hospital.
Elle and Joerick are amazing. Thank you guys for being great nurses unlike Kirsty.

I have been to Robina Private twice now and the staff and doctors/specialists are exceptional. Very caring, very qualified, excellent facilities, lovely food and the day classes/education is life changing. You can also do day programs which offers a wealth of education, so good. Cannot recommend Robina Private highly enough. Thank you Dr Singh & Dr Kluver for being exceptional psychiatrists, always discussing medication options with me and keeping me informed of pros and cons. The nurses on level 2 are excellent too, especially Joerick, Courtney & Amanda.

I have been admitted twice now and this time around I'm in a little shocked in how Aurora Health Care treat the Carers and Parents/Guardians.
There needs to be more support for the families of the patients. The lack of communication between the staff and the parents/families is non-existent.
A big thank you to Britt, Emma, Kimmy, Courtney, Ella and Amanda, thank you so much for actually caring and putting in the effort to help reassure me and my support network.

I’m writing this as a current patient at Robina Private, and wanted to share my experience as I saw the reviews prior to admission and felt a little conflicted by what I read.
Personally, I couldn’t be in a better, safer, kinder space right now. The Level 2 staff are INCREDIBLE! The level of genuine care they offer is next level. Sarah, Joe, Jen, Kimmy, Elly, Soha, Tia, and Tilly on Level 3….I wish I could list every one to say thank you!!! and honestly that doesn’t even seem enough.
If anyone is unsure from some of the other reviews, I hope reading this one helps you feel like you are making the right decision!
Is it perfect? No! But what is? There may be small things but they are just that, SMALL THINGS! If it’s a review on the level of treatment and care, it’s a 5 star from me. 💛

I came here in 2023 and I found it to be great. Now in 2024 it has become a place only concerned with beuracracy and making money. The patients are a commodity. Most of the nurses that used to be kind are angry and mean now (I can only assume this is due to policies changing higher up). They have made many many budget cuts which has led to a steep decline in the quality of care. The nurses can't even keep up to date with policy changes and are inconsistent with what they tell patients. It doesn't feel like a safe and caring space to recover in anymore. It feels like a jail now. It is absolutely awful and I know many patients who now refuse to return here because of how awful it has become. There is no humanity or empathy anymore and I hope they're ashamed. If you have a child (even adult child) who suffers from psychosis (but not at risk of harming others) or has hallucinations I would not recommend sending them here. They will be demonised and treated like misbehaving inmates instead of people who need help, care and kindness. Please take your loved ones somewhere else where the staff actually care.
When another patient had a hallucination and was terrified the nurses response was "isn't it a bit late to be dealing with all this?". She is a NIGHT nurse staff. It is her job to work through the night. As others said night nurses are just here for an easy pay check the woman who dealt with us was so awful.
Notice the only good reviews are from the day procedure surgery downstairs and nothing positive about the psychiatric Inpatient stay. In the last few years this place has become an uncaring beuracratic machine that just see patients as an ATM. Also note if you sort the reviews by newest you can see that the majority of new reviews are quite terrible ans the reviews used to be a lot better.
