Tonight we had the pleasure of dining at Portofino Restaurant in Runaway Bay and it was a truly exceptional experience. Maria, the owner, and her team provided outstanding service, making us feel welcome and at home.
The food was exquisite, with authentic Italian flavors and generous portions. We were thoroughly impressed by the quality and presentation of each dish.
The value for money was also excellent.

Giulia was delightful and even taught us how to pronounce the Italian food they offer. Ja prepared some amazing lunch.
The venue is situated at the Marina Bay where we had a good view at the beautiful yachts while enjoying our meals.

Oh my goodness!!! What an amazing gem of a restaurant.
The food was sensational authentic Italian from a family run business. So delicious. Maria and Renae were so welcoming and warm. Our young son was embraced. The atmosphere is delightful. I love that the recipes are generational and passed down.
My family of 3 enjoyed it so much we went for dinner and then lunch the following day.
Highly recommended to anyone and everyone. We will surely be coming back again. Thank you all so much.

Stunning restaurant! Friendly staff the moment you walk in. No matter the reason, catching up with friends or family or a romantic date night Portofino - Italian Restaurant delivers.
We were visiting family for a few days from Melbourne and wanted a lovely restaurant experience that would also cater to very severe food anaphylaxis. Before booking we did a lot of research for restaurants in the Gold Coast that would cater and there are not too many. Portofino - Italian Restaurant not only catered, but delivered beyond expectations. We order pizza regularly but our teen is lucky to eat 2 slices. Last night she ate almost an entire large pizza. She loved it! Beautiful flavour and not an allergen insight. If we could get this sent to us in Melbourne we would order for sure.

The rest of us had pastas and the lamb and for entree the focaccia - Bellissimo 💋

Had to leave a 5/5 review as the food was absolutely perfect. Even though they were busy the food came out fast and hot and the staff were lovely. Bf and I got the bruschetta, risotto porcini and risotto porchetta, all delicious, perfectly seasoned and generous portion sizes. Then the cannoli to end, what a delight. Loved it all. Will be back!
