Paradise Resort Gold Coast - Perfect for a Family Stay! We had a wonderful time here! When choosing between hotels, many were more adult-oriented, but we decided to go for one designed for kids - and I'm so glad we did. The babysitting center was amazing, allowing us to take some valuable time to ourselves and recuperate. We opted for all the extras, including the safari train ride which the kids absolutely loved. The safari train operator was hilarious, keeping the children laughing throughout the journey. The ice skating circus was interesting - while not exactly my cup of tea, the kids were completely enthralled. But that's perfectly fine - it's not all about me, and that's exactly why we chose this hotel. There are plenty of adults-only resorts, but we wanted a true family holiday. The food was good, and we didn't have any negative experiences during our stay. My kids gave it an enthusiastic five stars, and my wife agreed, also rating it five stars. If you're looking for a family-friendly resort on the Gold Coast, this is definitely the place to be!

This hotel accommodated us when another place cancelled our booking unexpectedly. So we are grateful for that. They were always helpful positive and courteous. The room was away from the popular pool area so not too noisy. And there was a lift. The booked car park was also good. It is full of parents and young kids. We are not in that stage of life so we tended to go explore the local Surfers area. The one meal we had there was good. I used the gym which was basic but is a quiet large space. Thanks Paradise Resort.

For the price paid ($600 for 3 nights in a basic room), it was great value - with the regular free activities, and the slides and pool, it kept my son and his mate happy for most of the day. Rooms could do with updating, but again - given the price, the room was absolutely fine, clean and tidy. Would have been great to be able to use cash at the restaurants/cafes, but I do understand why this might not be available. Hallways were a little noisy with kids running up and down from around 6am to 9pm, and the noise from the TV in the room next us was a little loud - but it is a kid-focused resort, so this is to be expected. Overall, had a great few days, thank you!

We stayed in an Aqua View room, which was extremely run-down, rusty, and had an unpleasant smell thoughtout, there were also public hairs in bathroom. Despite its motel-like condition, it was charged at a premium price of $669 per night. The room itself located near the chessboard and trampoline which used by kids constantly. The noise is from 7am to 9pm, made it impossible to get a proper sleep. Zero customer service. At check-in, the staff member at the arrival desk confirmed with me twice that parking was included (I had already prepaid for the accommodation). However, I was charged a parking fee of $125 upon departure. When I raised this issue, neither the manager nor the staff at check-out apologized for the miscommunication. Instead, they questioned me who added the parking, showed no effort to provide proper customer service. We also paid $22 per person for a breakfast ‘buffet’, which turned out to be nothing more than cereal and bread. Overall, the stay was a massive disappointment and absolutely not worth the price we paid.

We stayed a week with our 2 boys (5 and 7) and they absolutely loved it. The activities for them and the facilities are just perfect and I couldn’t be happier. It is not a five star simply because the facilities could be better, and no ventilation in the bathrooms. But the cleaning staff are the best, and so nice. They have food options for everyone, vegans, vegetarians, halal menu and more. Recommend if you are looking for a place where your kids will love spending their holidays
