Some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had and I’ve been vegan for 9 years!!! Staff were so so lovely and super accommodating to our groups peanut and mushroom allergy! They adapted dishes so we could all still share everything. It was honestly one of the best birthday meals I’ve ever had☺️ I will be back!

The most amazing vegan Japanese out there! All their dishes are carefully planned and beautifully executed and the taste is divine, you can’t even tell it’s vegan. Service is always welcoming and helpful. This is our go to almost every Friday night. Highly recommend!

True gem of a spot!! Loved everything about Izakaya Midori from the friendly staff to the thoughtfully arranged food. Flavours were on point and we were very particularly impressed with the black sesame ice cream which is imported from Japan! We tried only a few dishes so we hope to come back and try many more. Definitely come here for dinner and enjoy!

We were completely blown away by the delicious and unique vegan food on offer at Izakaya Midori! Well worth the drive out if you’re staying on the Gold Coast like we were.
Our visit begun with a friendly ‘Irashaimase’ greeting from the staff and kitchen, which is always a nice touch, and we were then introduced to the menu, at which point we were surprised by the range of unique options they had available!
We ended up going for the gyozaholic, XX fried bucket, Salmon Avo Rolls, SpicyLime Chicken, King Oyster Mushroom, Okonomiyaki and Sashimi Carpaccio. All of them were delicious and just melted in your mouth, leaving us wanting more! Especially surprising were the Sashimi carpaccio which looked like real salmon and were absolutely amazing. The okonomiyaki was also amazing and it’s nice to see an authentic vegan version! The sauces are a real highlight.
Will definitely need to come back in the future! Honestly such a hidden gem that imo deserves a Michelin star for its creative and unique cuisine!

Beside that the staff is really friendly.
