Awesome location with only being 30 mins from surfers paradise. Private and quite with our on pool was amazing. Only negative is that the accommodation was in need of a renovation and was dated. However it was clean and tidy and was perfect for the family.

This resort has an interesting setup, as most of the people on the isle actually live there permanently, and the front office only hires out a few of the townhouses/homes. This gives the accommodation a very homely and local vibe which I found enhanced the experience.
The room was very well equipped for the needs of my group of three people, and I was very impressed with the quality of the stay at this price point. There is a full shopping center just across the road with everything you need and there are buses stopping nearby which let you easily get to nearby beaches and the airport. I would 10000% stay here again the next time I have a weekender on the gold coast, this quality is just unbeatable for the price point.

Was very nice, place was big and comfortable.
Had some quirks like none of the bathroom doors having working locks, and a few other little things but for the price and the location we were very happy with a family of 7 staying their.

A little bit older but great value, has just been taken over by new owner who is working hard to tidy it up. Pool was nice and the canal view.

Chose Isle of Palms as it was more cost effective than most accommodation on the Gold Coast, just 15 mins from airport and a short 30min freeway trip to the parks so convenient and easy to get to. Having a full shopping center within walking distance was very convenient. Unit was nice, unlike other comments we had a split aircon upstairs that kept the place nice and cool. The view of the lake was great and birds came straight up to the back door. Plenty of fish in the lake just jumping out the water. Beds were comfy enough, the pools and spa were great and BBQ facilities were decent enough. oven and tv need replacing but all in all for a family vacation the facilities were pretty good and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay again in future as the cost allowed us an extra 2 days. Be aware the on site restaurant doesn’t cater for dinner, just lunch. The close by RSL is decent enough but can get packed out on weekends.
