Sadly, this morning I had my last appointment with the fabulous young female GP Dr Madeleine Sherry at HMC in Nerang. She is heading for new experiences up north in Queensland and I’m sad to lose her as my favourite doc here on the Gold Coast but I wish her well with her career!
If you come across Dr Madeleine Sherry, I’m more than happy to recommend her:
Dr Maddie is friendly and personable. She always listens and ‘hears’ and she doesn’t rush you out the door. She is highly knowledgeable and has a lovely manner.
Best wishes and thank you Dr Maddie and I wish you well up north!
From… Rosalie Everest (recently retired lady pensioner and recovering high school teacher facing the woes of old age!!! 😆)
Ps … Maddie would be a great go to Doc for young people and men too, not just old worn out girls like me).

Amy and Ellie at reception were fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful in booking my partner in last minute for an urgent medical issue! Dr. Miller was brilliant as well—efficient, reassuring, and made him feel completely comfortable throughout. Thank you all for the excellent care!

Doctors here are so quick to dismiss any kind of sickness as just Covid or influenza and not look at your symptoms or take you seriously.
Then even after testing negative they still won’t do much to help or see you.
Quite disappointing we have been going here for years.
Reception is always quite rude and appointments are consistently 45mins - 1 hour late.

Doctors here, admin and nurses are pretty good. No complaints at all. I don’t think they bulk bill but that’s not surprising since successive governments have not adjusted Medicare payments for doctors for ages. There’s a chemist downstairs and pathologist too.

WOW Absolutely blown away by making a new patient feel like they’re not welcome by reception and would not make an appointment due to not being a regular patient at clinic.
Not a welcoming medical centre, would never recommend.
