Would be 0 stars if I could. We ordered breakfast burritos which the staff dropped by accident on the road when handing to us in the drive through. Staff offered that she can collected the food from the floor but we declined. Not ideal but can happen so we said we will wait in the parking bay. After 5 minutes eventually someone came out asking if we want a refund or a remake of the food and we answered “both”. At this point we thought it was a bit ridiculous to make us wait and not have the food remade already. Anyways, we were told either remake or refund, so we asked for a remake. Food was remade but the incorrect order was remade. It almost seemed like the staff in the kitchen put hot sauce in my husbands burrito out of spite and I only ate 2-3 bites of mine as I was scared what else they may have done to the food. I’m pregnant so the spicy sauce would have made me violently ill and it was only by chance that my husband got the one with the hot sauce.
We were at no point rude to the staff or anything, despite that this kind of behaviour is incredibly dangerous if allergies or anything else could be triggered.
I would highly recommend avoiding this particular GYG in the meantime.
All has been reported to head office of GYG.

Beware the guac… I was happily enjoying my meal when I took a bite of something and got slapped with a gnarly taste. Whatever it was, it was not right. It had a rancid flavor that I can only describe as the avocados dark side. Breaking up with GYG for good this time.

We had to have our burritos remade due to a staff member dropping it on the road at the drive thru (and then offering it us). We were very understanding and polite about this, and just asked for a remake. Please and thank you.
This seemed to upset a couple of staff members who didn’t want to remake the burrito, as their attitude was extremely rude and when they finally remade the burritos they added a ton of hot sauce to mine (neither burrito was supposed to have hot sauce in it) out of spite. Just about blew my head off, the whole thing was runny and it got all over my hands and clothes as a result, as well as burning my mouth into oblivion.
Disgusting behaviour from staff and management. Reported to head office.

I ordered takeaway last night and every time I go here there’s always a mistake.. I ordered a mini burrito bowl and paid for extra guacamole and they didn’t put it in, and the corn chips were stale! I’m not one to write bad but this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this at GYG in Burleigh.

Ordered a breakfast burrito and paid an extra hash brown to be added in it. Had to wait about 10 mins for this to be made and it came out cold and missing the extra hash brown. This is the second time it’s happened in a month at this store. Pretty disappointing since I’m paying for a product and not even getting it. I have contacted customer service online and still waiting for it to be followed up.
Food is always bad quality and cold, even though it should be made fresh? Seems like the staff hate their job and don’t want to be there .
Will not be returning to this store, think I’ll just go to the new Robina one next time.
