I had a disappointing experience at Good Life and Bundle Gold Coast.
When I signed up, the sales lady (Allysa) told me that if I brought a friend to the gym, I would get 2 weeks free, and if I wrote down 10 names referring friends, I would get another 2 weeks free. I also clearly mentioned that I would only be doing 3 months because I was moving to Hervey Bay after that.
However, she never explained that to receive these 4 free weeks in total, I would first have to pay for 3 full months before getting the free time. This was not made clear at all during the sign-up process. It really feels like the focus was only on making the sale, not on being transparent about the conditions.
When I called the gym to clarify, I was told I had to pay for 3 months before getting the free period — something that was never mentioned before.
On top of that, I paid extra for a personal trainer package (2 sessions), but for two weeks the trainer never contacted me. After I went to the reception three times asking about it, they told me to message the trainer myself.
Also, Allysa said the gym has 24-hour maintenance to fix issues, but I’ve seen many machines out of order for a long time, which doesn’t seem true either.
Overall, I think they should be much clearer, more transparent, and more professional when it comes to customer service and communication.

if there was an option to give zero stars i would. Goodlife is not worth your money. Consider this before letting them demand and take your money. I have many bad experiences with this gym and the staff at reception dont want to help you except take all your money. I rung up wanting to cancel but was told I couldn't and had to pay a fee of $290 to end my contract, which i understand. I asked for any alternative to this and one option was to cancel. I asked if I had to pay any money in order to transfer my membership over to a new member, they said 'no', it is a smooth process. But when the transfer was happening i was called and told i had to pay $1500!! I was never told about this and even asked if i had to pay any remianing balance for the left over contract months and they said no. This gym in not worth the money they make you pay, go find another gym thats worth your money, your time and you effort. please educate your staff on your policies so that customers dont feel cheated and lied to, or embarrased by what your own staff told the customers. Bad gym and not worth it. Go to fitness cartel or EFC, much better and the vibes are amazing compared to any goodlife gym and also its much cheaper!! :)

Fantastic classes! The Body Pump instructor gave such clear instructions and corrected techniques, which made a huge difference. The Yin Yoga instructor was amazing she welcomed my husband and me on our first visit, guided us throughout, and even checked in afterwards. Amazing experience!!

Goodlife Bundall has a modern gym floor with a good selection of equipment that is kept quite clean. It is not small but it is also one of the busiest gyms in the Gold coast and it can feel crowded at times.
The staff, trainers and instructors at the gym or for various classes are almost all super friendly and a genuine highlight of this gym.
In saying all that; the change room/showers could be cleaner/nicer.

Good life Bundall keeps demanding that I pay even after my contract has ended. I was told that I had a $12 payment outstanding and then my account/contact would be finalised. I have been billed $12, then $36, then $10, and again $10.
I have now seemed legal action as this is completely unacceptable.
My contract finished more than 6 months ago.
Do not ever sign up with these parasites.
My lawyer has stated that they definitely have enough evidence to take this matter further.
DO NOT ever sign up with this health club.
I have been a previous member of many Australian gyms in the past and have never come across this type of illegal practice.
My lawyer assures me that I will get back every cent these scum bags have stolen since my contract ended.
I will review again as this case moves forward.
