They charge a premium, but deliver very little. The gym is always overcrowded, making it hard to train properly. There are more than four broken bikes, some of which have been out of service for over four months, with no sign of repair.
The facility can’t handle the number of members, and equipment maintenance is terrible. I’ve tried to transfer my contract (still have 12 months left), but no one wants to take it because of the gym’s bad reputation.
Unfortunately, I do not recommend Good Life to anyone. Very disappointed with the experience.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend
I signed up to Goodlife on a 12-month contract and after just over a month, I had deeply regretted it. I have now cancelled 3 months in and the cancellation fee that I paid was $395 .
The main reason I joined was for the pilates classes, but the experience has been consistently frustrating:
The booking system is broken. You don’t get reminders or cancellation options unless you book a full week in advance. I’ve been charged multiple times for classes I couldn’t attend because in some times you had no way to cancel as you got no text.
I’ve turned up twice to booked pilates classes with no instructor present. No explanation, no heads-up.
The quality of the pilates classes is really poor. There isn’t a dedicated instructor guiding you through the session – instead, you watch a video screen while the instructor walks around, which doesn’t feel personal or engaging.
The pilates beds are low quality, and overall the room smells gross, making the experience uncomfortable and unhygienic.
I've tried to give it a chance, but this gym has been incredibly underwhelming. This was at Burleigh Waters Goodlife. It’s disappointing to be locked into a contract with such poor standards and not an appropriate way to exit the contract with the bad conditions. I now go to another gym that’s far better in every way.
Would not recommend based on my experience.

I recently joined the good life gym in Burleigh waters . The reception people were both very welcoming and put me at ease so my first impression was a very good and relaxed one . I was given an introduction to the club by Dylan who again made the process easy and comfortable. The locker room is clean and spacious and well set out and the gym has all the equipment that I need so I’m very happy with my decision to join up.

Yuri and Karen are the friendliest, most engaging instructors I've ever had for a group fitness class anywhere. My wife Em and I always feel so welcomed and invited and their knowledge of Reform Pilates is amazing! Goodlife is lucky to have such amazing staff.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Goodlife Burleigh that I feel compelled to share. Recently, I was wrongly accused of tailgating, and the way the situation was handled has left me very dissatisfied.
When I first contacted the gym to address the issue, I was told to send an email. I did so promptly, only to receive a response directing me to reply to the initial email—which turned out to be a no-reply address! This lack of communication is unacceptable and incredibly frustrating.
To make matters worse, I was charged without being asked for consent regarding the alleged incident. When I attempted to dispute the charge, I was met with dismissive responses and told that I did, in fact, tailgate, despite my vehement denial of the accusation. To top it off, they refuse to show me any footage that could clarify the situation.
The service I received throughout this process has been abysmal, and the way I have been treated is appalling. I expected better from a reputable gym. I strongly urge others to consider their options before joining Goodlife Burleigh. This experience has been very disappointing, and I feel completely unheard and unjustly treated.
