I've been a member of my local Robina Fernwood for about 12months. Great gym with friendly, professional staff. Modern well equiped & plenty of group classes you can participate in. Instructors are very patience with beginners but will also push those who are advanced. I personally love the Reformer & Spin classes. Females Only can have its advantages too

This gym has changed my life. After years of struggling with anxiety disorders which meant I could only train effectively at unisex gym at 10pm to feel comfortable or had to settle for a small room (women’s section) in regular gyms.
Fernwood Robina has state of the art equipment and is set up to feel like a motivational sanctuary. The staff are so polite and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. This experience is a game changer.
Also Rosa (group training instructor)
Commands the group class and brings so much energy and enthusiasm. The best group class experience ever. I have done this class at other gyms and normally can’t wait for it to be over. She sets the benchmark. I left feeling pumped today.

I signed up to fernwood thinking a “female only” gym would have a better environment to work out in, but any time I ever needed any kind of assistance, in store or over the phone, I dealt with extremely judgmental and rude older ladies. One time I walked up to the front desk to ask a few questions about a specific machine and the older lady shouted “GOSH ANY MORE QUESTIONS?!” And made me feel like I was an idiot for not understanding. I wasn’t going to leave this review but since joining EMF at Robina and seeing what positive gym actually feels like, I thought it was time to leave this review.

Love Fernwood Robina. I’m a mum of 3 who’s just come back to the gym after a few years off and I am so glad I chose Fernwood! The staff are so welcoming & helpful. The Creche is fantastic & my kids love it. They have so many great extras like breakfast and coffee in the morning (amazing!), a LED sauna, massage chairs, so many fitness classes. It’s great to feel so comfortable as a woman in a gym. Highly recommend :)

It’s been 6 months training here and I feel it’s my second home. Being a mum of 2, sometimes it gets hard, but having the amazing ladies who take care of my kids when I work out, it’s amazing. So apart of super recommending the crèche, I need to say that accepting the intro 3 pt sessions , was a game changer ♥️
