My husband and I returned here 6 years after spending our wedding weekend here. The place is lovely and cosy, has everything you need and is in a great location. It’s about 100 metres from the St Bernard pub, so you can walk there, have dinner and it also has a takeaway bottle shop which is handy. The highlight by far though was my 2 hour bliss massage with Jess and let me tell you, it well and truly lived up to its name. Jess gave me the best massage I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a few all over the world. It was absolutely divine. She did my feet, my legs, arms, neck, head, and back. I would even consider travelling back up from Brisbane for one of Jess’ massages.

We had a return visit to enjoy the peace and relaxation on offer. We were welcomed And were provided with all information. The villa was very spacious and clean. We were unable to access the wifi but that was of little consequence for us. We were there to relax and unwind which, with the amazing massages we had in the spa retreat was very easy to do. The kitchen was closed due to storm damage that is currently being repaired however, again, no stress. There is a cafe (Willow and Sage) around 500m, easy walk which provided a lovely atmosphere, great coffee and tasty menu for breakfast. Lovely stroll back to the Escarpment. The hardest thing for us was packing up and leaving. We will be back again.

A weekend escape for our wedding anniversary. The rooms were cosy, dim lit setting a relaxing scene. Nice big spa bath just for two. Short walk to St Bernard’s for dinner. We also indulged in a couples massage which was on site and so relaxing. Thank you for an amazing getaway.

My husband and I escaped to the Escarpment Retreat & Day Spa for a winter weekend getaway, and it was just what we needed! We arrived on Friday night to a lovely warm villa that had gorgeous high ceilings, a combination of timber and stone walls and beautiful lighting throughout. Outside we were enclosed in the beauty of the bush and peaceful surrounds. Our hosts were not seen but checked in with us via the occasion text messages about firewood and our well-being. On the Friday night we had an easy walk to St Bernard's Hotel. A fab pub with 3 actual beautiful big Bernard dogs - gorgeous! On the Saturday we found some great hikes, wineries, distilleries, galleries and restaurants. The whole weekend was utterly blissful! We will be ensuring we book the same time, next year with Escarpment :)
