I have been seeing Dr Adam’s since about 2011 for my migraines and he literally saved my life. I even remember my first appointment, he was thorough and listened to everything I had to say. From that first appointment I was put on the right medication and would adjust when appropriate. I did have a few years where I didn’t need to see him, but have just started going again. I’m even travelling 10hrs away to come and see him. I would recommend Dr Adam’s any day

I was referred to Dr Adam’s due to ongoing back pain that has been affecting my work and daily life. From the first appointment everything has been great, dr Adam’s is attentive and very helpful when it came to my issues. I have needed multiple follow up appointments and these have always been easy to come by without too long of a wait which is what is needed when you have a health concern like mine. We are still investing my problems but he has gone above and beyond to find out the issues and find some pain management solutions. I look forward to my ongoing care with Dr Adam’s.

Do not go here. Bunch of clowns.
From my first appointment we hated it.
Went to the Doctor with numerous symptoms, had an MRI, specialist Question marked MS as well as Doctor from lesions on scan, went into see Richard who was cold and rude. I got upset while talking about my story and he huffed and puffed and cut me off and was said for me to just continue talking to him about my symptoms….. he did a couple of tests then turned to me and said “ask me anything you want” when I did ask he seemed frustrated that I was taking up his in his mind ‘Valuable time(?)’ I don’t think he once gave a glimmer of a smile when we were in our appointment because he was so rude and passive my husband actually asked him “so should we be concerned?” To which he replied “oh yes I would be concerned” I ended up getting a lumbar puncture and when I was at reception he told the receptionist the date he wanted to see me and we booked it in. I didn’t want to go back to him but thought it would be easier than changing my referral name and it was really only for my LP results and then I was going to change specialists after anyway. I called Reception to confirm the appointment and she gaslit me saying that he never would have asked her to do that. And no appointment was booked. She was extremely rude and hostile on the phone. Sounded like an old lady that should be in retirement and she just gets super frustrated easily, kind of like the rest of the pack there. Frustrated and hate their lonely lives. Linda at reception is rude and unhelpful. And Richard needs to retire honestly. I’ve actually had a second opinion since which is completely different which seems to be the general consensus of him misdiagnosing patients and being super rude.
You’re dealing with people and their neurological conditions that affect their livelihoods. The least you could do if you can’t diagnose people correctly, is have some compassion.

Richard Adams has helped me more than many others because my situation is complex. It doesn’t just appear after a few blood tests or diagnostic scans making diagnosis easy. Many Specialists will give up at this point. Sort of like the Flat-Earth-Society. If you don’t fit into all they know, you can’t be suffering. That’s when you get excuse-diagnoses, or generalised “syndromes” instead of committing to a diagnosis that requires deeper consideration and collaboration.
My situation is chronic and dire. I’ve experienced so many misdiagnoses and ill-prescription my entire life long. it’s eroded my trust in healthcare. I can spot holes in thorough diagnoses a mile away. It happens all the time. Doctors make mistakes out of assumption, or ignorance, or arrogance. It’s not acceptable if you’re degenerating rapidly and wondering not “if”, but when you’re going to loose your independence. However, Dr Adams has always treated me with respect. He has never dismissed my concerns. He has always considered my experience of chronic symptoms and continues to help me. He is thorough in his approach to diagnosis.
He doesn’t waste my shortening time and money.
