For those after a relaxing stay:We stayed in the lake apartments. They are basic, clean, and comfortable. We looked over the lake. Such a serene setting and very quiet. Leisurely walks and amazing swimming pool area. Play area and put-put for the kids and plenty of wildlife for them to observe. So relaxing.

Beautiful resort that is a bit dated. Pool is fantastic, along with the resort grounds. We got an updated room that was clean and well maintained and overlooked the lake. An abundance of wildlife around and close enough to the theme parks. Will definitely come back in the future.

2 adults, 3 kids in a 2 bed apartment. Lovely interior recently renovated kitchens and bathrooms. The grounds are quite expansive but safe for the kids to roam, feed the turtles, play golf, ride bikes, only 20 mins from movie world, wet n wild. Away from it all but close to it all

We stayed a week, it was fabulous. The unit impeccable, the kitchen appliances working perfectly, a variety of outdoor activities for the kids to enjoy, quiet. 20min drive to amusement parks, 30min drive to Surfers Paradise. Highly recommended for families.

Highly recommended.
We visited Cedar Lake Country Resort for a week. We were hosted by friendly and helpful staff, who helped to make our visit very enjoyable.
The pool, lake and gardens are spacious and well maintained, bird life is ever present, a mob of kangaroos roam the grasses and turtles galore populate the lake.
We found the location perfect for drives to Hinze Dam View Cafe, Springbrook National Park, the natural bridge, the Crystal Creek Estate Cafe & Nursery, Beechmont Pub, Beechmont, Binna Burra and Tamborine Mountain. We certainly crammed in a lot of exploring into one week.
