I was provided with a voucher from QLD Health to receive dental care, and was instructed to attend this clinic with this voucher. I had not received a voucher like this before, and was not aware of the rules and processes surrounding them.
From the moment I walked in, her manner of speech and general demeanour was horrific - I felt genuinely disturbed and unwelcome in their clinic due to Kelly’s behaviour.
She led me in to the treatment room and I took a seat in the dentists chair as the dentist was preparing himself to begin. She stood behind me and snapped at the dentist, suggesting he should not begin treatment, as it seemed she had an issue with whether or not they could accept this voucher as a form of payment.
Her tone was appalling, belittling and truly unprofessional during their back and forth discussion about whether or not they would treat me. This went on for a good 5 minutes, and I was sitting in the treatment chair the entire time.
It became clear to me that the dentist had no issue with the voucher, as he was justifying his actions in order to appease her so that he may begin treating me.
I was so uncomfortable being the subject of their conversation and almost got up to leave - but thought I was already here and did not want to waste the dentists time out of respect to him as a medical professional.
When I expressed my discomfort and disappointment with her behaviour, the dentist was kind and understanding, and apologised for the experience I had here - he seemed to be a genuinely nice man and behaved professionally.
Due to Kelly’s manner of speaking, which can be defined more as barking rather than communicating, I would not return here, nor would I recommend anyone to attend this clinic as a result of her belittling and insulting manners.
It was an extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant experience at this clinic due to her disrespect, unprofessional conduct and hostile attitude.
As a health professional with NSW Health for over 23 years. I can not believe that a person like Kelly is able to maintain her employment with that kind of attitude.

I am simply amazed every time I require dental work at how gentle, caring and professional Dr Kapadia and his assistant Kelly are. I will never go to another dentist practice again and have recommended to family and friends who feel the same.

Dentist has a kind manner, gentle hands, very affordable prices and not long wait times. He has done a good job on my teeth. Highly recommended. Tried a new dentist closer to home, but was horrified at her scare and shaming tactics. Willing to drive 40 minutes across town to see Dr Devesh for his good work.

Dental assistant was extremely rude, did not honour the voucher I purchased and tried to make me pay double what a regular clean would be on the spot, whilst refusing to even attempt the service I had paid for already unless I payed more on the spot. Then has passed my details onto a company that takes out of your super for dental payments and is trying to get a $8000 appointment booked/paid for out of my super for their dental practice (which I would not go to again) clearly after money feels very much like a scam…all I needed was a clean that I purchased and maybe a future appointment to upkeep. Terrible experience would not recommend

I have no hesitation in recommending CBD Dental wholeheartedly. Devesh and Kelly are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable with every visit. Going to the dentist is definitely one of those things that you put off, however, since I have started coming to CBD Dental I am actually going when I need to as their prices are affordable and they do a great and reliable job every time.
