Top marks for cleanliness and customer service, very competitive pricing, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, however, there were a few issues regarding the bathroom, the main one being the stress of thinking there was no hot water!
After a few minutes of trying, my partner said there was no hot water from either tap in the shower. I thought maybe she forgot how taps work 😆, but I couldn't get any hot water either.
I then tried the hot tap at the basin, and after about another minute on almost full pressure, it started to warm up, eventually becoming hot. I then tried the shower again, and after another 20 seconds it did the same.
It didn't help that the h & c taps in the shower were loose, and the opposite orientation to the ones at the basin.. also, the shower pressure was (adequate, but) far less than the basin, so who knows how long it could have taken, if only relying on the shower taps?
*the next morning, the delay for hot was less than 20 seconds.*
The only other issues were the cheap-o toilet tissue, like you might find in toilets at a train station (I didn't know it still existed) and also the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom was a minor inconvenience, but whatever, next time I'll bring toilet paper.

Worst stay ever in my life
Very noisy
Make sure you have to tidy your room, clean utensils, empty your bins before leaving room.
Those were the instructions given to us, I mean I have never seen those instructions while staying in a motel. What’s the point of staying there.
Make sure you tidy your bed and clean utensils before you enter room, probably it will done by last guests.
Bathroom rubbish was still there when we enter room.

The staff were rude, we arrived at 1.50 pm and check-in was at 2 pm but my 4-year-old son was busting to go to the toilet and the staff said check-in was at 2 pm go over across the street and use the public toilets. The location was good rooms were basic. The double bed in the room was terrible I sat on the edge and touched the base of the ensemble, the springs made the bed super lumpy. Single beds were more comfortable. We found cockroach eggs in the bed sheets.

This motel has gone from a family owned to a nobody knows managed by honest people with a tight rein on decision making.Iwill never return or recommend the establishment as follows; After entry to our unit our tv went into meltdown ie someone (possibly a previous customer)enabled a parental control which shut down and blocked access to said item.Long story short between 7.30 and 1030pm I had many phone calls /txt to night managers.No joy.Ascertained that you need to enter the same pin to restart tv.Problem was no one could work out the pin.I suggested put a tv from another room in .Sorry can’t do that.Ihave found that the manager has such a tight rein on decision making that he cannot make a decision.Heaven help the next customer as after 2hrs the tv shuts down.In conclusion this rant may seem over the top however in compensation the manager offered a late checkout.As it turns out if I entered a contract with tv manufacturers Icould request a pin change (providing email and normal id requirements)Rant over.

Fantastic place - I’ve stayed here many times with my grandkids on school holidays. Very affordable and wonderful staff. Only thing I can fault, due to no fault of the owners, is the roadworks (about 2 years now) previously it read ok, last time heavy machinery had reversing beeping going on all night
