I had my surgery a week ago with the breast academy and have had an amazing experience the whole way through. Dr Maxim has been very informative, I feel like he’s taken a real interest in my surgery and I haven’t felt like just another number, he was honest and realistic yet still took my wants/needs into consideration. All my questions were answered, I’ve felt reassured every time and not left concerned. The nurses were lovely and never too pushy. I’m super happy with my outcome already just 1 week out so I can’t wait for my 3month appointment to see the results. Highly recommend this team of plastic surgeons.

I am 3 weeks post op for a Breast Augmentation. I had the most amazing experience with the Breast Academy. I cannot fault them on anything. Holly made everything so easy for me. I travelled from overseas to have my surgery and had no issues getting all the information that I needed to prepare.
My surgeon, Dr Maxim Geeroms, was fantastic. He answered all my questions throughout the process, and I felt totally at ease leading up to my surgery.
The care that I got from the staff at Pacific Private Hospital was also outstanding. Again, could not fault them on anything.
I am so so pleased with my results. They have exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Breast Academy , and Dr Maxim Geeroms, to anyone considering surgery.

My experience with Breast Academy has been absolutely fantastic! Though there was a long wait on surgery day after admission, everyone was incredibly caring and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I felt extremely comfortable going into the procedure.

This surgery has changed my life!
I have worn padded bras my whole life and now my children are older I decided it was finally time to do something I’ve always wanted to do.
Dr Maxim Geeroms has done an incredible job of creating the perfect breast augmentation to make me look ‘in proportion’ to the rest of my body.
Dr Geerom was caring, professional and knowledgeable. (And incredible surgeon)
I received all the information I needed to help me along my transformation journey and easy to follow instructions for care after the procedure.
The surgery exceeded my expectations!

It’s taken me 6 years to write this review as I have suffered nerve damage since my surgery at The Breast Academy and was repeatedly told by them that nothing was wrong. It has taken me until recently to find another surgeon who would listen to my pain concerns and have since completed a breast revision surgery and I am finally pain free.
I had my surgery done in September 2017 and for 2 years went to my follow up appointments as instructed and each time advised them of the shooting and stabbing pains I was having in both breasts. Each time I saw a surgeon for a follow up, they took no interest whatsoever in what I was suffering from. At my last appointment 2 years postop, I begged for help and was told they would discuss it with the leadership team to see if there was any suggestions as to what could be causing it. A few days later I received an email telling me to see my GP for a “pain management plan”! I even requested to see a senior surgeon and also tried to book a consult with Dr Craig Layt at his own practice (as he is a supervisor for The Breast Academy) and all my requested were blatantly refused.
So, I gave up asking them for help and resigned myself to living with pain. A few years passed and I mustered the courage to try to solve it again, visiting a few surgeons for consultations and finally selected Dr Hatem Elfieshawy who immediately knew what the pain could be and suggested a plan to fix it.
I have since had my revision surgery with him and am finally nerve pain free after nearly 6 years.
The experience with The Breast Academy showed me a complete lack of patient care. I never got to even speak to the same surgeon twice in all my consults, surgery and follow ups combined. There is no personal connection and you are treated like part of a factory line. It would not surprise me at all if we end up seeing class actions suits similar to those happening in Sydney with other organisations at the moment, as I have since read in online groups and forums multiple similar experiences that other patients have had. These have included other issues I also experienced such as being told tear drop implants are the only option before even seeing a surgeon (!!!) and being charged at the higher teardrop implant rate and then being unable to change it, even when subsequent consultations have confirmed round would have been perfectly fine (and are in fact what I have had with my revision).
Please please please be careful in choosing them for your surgery. I am sure there are lots of people who have had a simple and good experience but the most important thing is to know you will be helped if something actually goes wrong. It can be tempting to fall for the Cosmeditour advertising and cheaper pricing but if something does happen to go wrong for you, you will pay for it dearly in the long run.
