1 star for reception leaving my calls unanswered ! 0 Stars for the reception leaving me on hold for over 25mins , 0stars for the receptionist staff make me wait another 3 days to see my doctor that I was in with 12hrs prior for a doctors certificate.
0 stars for website stating Telehealth calls can be made however reception states they are not allowed ! If you can get pass the rude lady on reception then you will find the doctors 5 star and very nice !

Skipped the place for 4 years due to rude receptionist, thought I would give them another go. Still the same rude ignorant staff, been there to long, need new blood that can show respect (even stating what treatment I might need).

This afternoon I was contacted by my GP at Bay Medical in relation to a report that I had tested positive to Covid. I explained that I knew nothing about it and that I had not contacted the surgery in relation to this. The GP said she was putting me through to reception after which I was on hold for about 10 minutes. When the receptionist finally came on the line she abruptly informed me that the situation involved another patient and I had been contacted in error. When I suggested an apology may be in order she asked if I was planning on coming down to assist her in reception as she was very busy. I asked if that assistance may include ensuring that patients’ records are not switched by mistake. The receptionist then hung up in my ear with no further reply. I trust that some person of authority in the organisation may access this review and some form of accountability be put in place to address this low standard of staff service provision.

The receptionist Tracy was very nice when I explained I couldn’t get to the surgery for an appointment this morning and suggested the Dr could ring me and give me the X-ray report over the phone. Dr rang a little earlier than arranged but that was convenient. A great outcome for me. Thank you Bay Medical.

I have been a patient for 2 years now of Bay Medical.I personally have found them to be courteous friendly and professional. The girls at reception are always smiling laughing and friendly.I highly recommend them for your medical needs anytime.Don’t forget everyone they are under a lot of Covid pressure as well hence the strict protocol on masks that the government requires.
