Aruba Surf Resort was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. Service from reception staff was very friendly and attentive.
We were very early to check in but the no-fuss attitude from staff made it very easy allowing us to leave our bags and call us once room was ready which was earlier than expected.
Information was given on very first arrival and the information was very helpful for suggestions on places to go and things to do around the area.
Room was perfect size with a beautiful balcony view. Very clean and amenities were plentiful.
Overall was an amazing stay, would definitely stay here when we come back again!!

Terrible experience here. Late check in and they took $300 pre auth plus a $300 full charged security deposit and neither have been released or returned thre were no room issues.
Check in was exhausting and once in room, tv didn't work and there was no WiFi password. No one was contactable, rang all after hour numbers 3 times. The hot tap in shower was faulty, water was minimal power. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was just shabby. 100% not worth the money.
It is extortion paying that for this property. 5days later and still can't get contact of the property about our refund.
Do not recommend and book somewhere else.

Horrible Experience at Aruba Surf Resort
My family and I had an extremely disappointing stay at Aruba Surf Resort in Broadbeach. We booked for seven nights but left after four due to numerous issues.
First, our apartment was infested with cockroaches. Despite our complaints, nothing improved. Additionally, the apartment directly in front of ours was undergoing renovations, causing constant noise and disturbance. To make matters worse, people tried to perform services like cleaning vents in our apartment without any prior notice, which was highly inconvenient.
After moving us to a new room, the problems persisted. On the first night in the new room, we found a cockroach under our pillow just before going to bed. This was the final straw. We felt unsafe and decided to book another hotel at around 10 PM that night.
Overall, our experience was terrible, and the resort failed to provide a safe and comfortable environment. I would not recommend Aruba Surf Resort to anyone.

The staff was really friendly and accommodating. They helped us to check-in earlier than the check in time as we had a long flight.
They also answered any questions we had and gave us a little complimentary package with shampoo, dish washer liquid and such.
+ Also free wifi
The rooms are good if you plan on staying for 3-4 days, but after a few days the bed starts to do a number on your back.
The location is really good with Kurrawa Beach within 10 min walking distance, and the Oasis shopping center just around the corner.
It is also located next to the tramline which was convenient for traveling around the city.
I have to briefly mention about cons that we experienced
-when we arrived the rooms were not thoroughly cleaned after the previous residents, the tabletops were dusty and the dishes were not clean 🫧
-the apartments are only accessible by stairs and we got the apartment on the top, they can get your knees to act up after a long day of walking.

Got off the plane and found out my booking was cancelled by this lot. Direct phone call were met with a whole mountain of excuses. You had a whole week if there WAS a problem, What you don't do, is to cancel a paid and confirmed booking on the day. I sincerely hope you go out of business.

Edit: Seems editing is the only way I can respond to the lies by the owner. Seems you want to go all in so I'm going to give you all the rope you need to hang yourself. I have call and messages logs including sending my ID to you as requested and you tell me here I did not contact you and you don't have my number?
Also you did NOT call me, not even once. You tried to reach me via agoda and I have responded there and guess what? I have screen captures as well. do you want to go there?
Agoda required me to cancel in order to get the refund. It is normal practice by online booking agents to insure I cannot post a negative review. However, this does not change the fact that it was YOU that unilaterally cancelled by booking first.
