Great spot and great view but a couple of newly building blocks the 3 side ocean view even from top 21st floor. Stil rate 5 star.
Reception staff great service and helpful.

A beautiful location and facilities. More of a standard along location not much in the way of services the likes of a hotel but a lovely place with great views, pool, spa, sauna, tennis courts and plenty of parking around.

We stayed in 19A, and were super impressed. Whales and dolphins, sunrise over the sea, endless views. Very comfortable apartment for our family of four, and plenty of room for entertaining guests. Relatively quiet area, 30 min walk to central Surfers. Lovely pool, spa, sauna, BBQs and even Tennis. Never seemed busy even during school holidays. We'll be back!

We stayed at Sunbird for GC500 race week. What a great apartment.! The whole deal from start to finish was so awesome. The communication was perfect and so fast with replies to my numerous questions.
The apartment was well appointed with everything we needed. Great comfy beds, lovely linen and a well equipped kitchen with a full sized fridge.
The check in/out process was seamless and having our own underground secure parking was a bonus.
Can’t wait to get back!

Travelling with an 11-month-old baby, all we wanted was a smooth check-in and a clean room so our little one could have a nap. Instead, Sunbird Beach Resort delivered one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had on a holiday.
The apartment we were given was still dirty from the previous guests — unmade beds, rubbish left behind, and bathrooms in an unacceptable state. Rather than apologising or offering any real assistance, the manager dismissed us and told us to come back later, promising we’d get a call once the room was ready. That call never came. We ended up wasting 3.5 hours with an overtired baby and nowhere to go, only to return to a room that still hadn’t been properly cleaned.
The frustration didn’t stop there. The facilities are run-down, the rooms are tired and dated, and the price tag is outrageous for what you actually get. Attempts to contact management afterwards were ignored completely. No compensation, no accountability, no care whatsoever.
This place is badly run from the top down. If you’re travelling with a family, do yourself a favour and avoid Sunbird Beach Resort. They don’t value their guests, and certainly don’t understand the needs of parents with young children.
