The location is great, amazing views and you can walk wherever you need to be. The kitchen utensils are a bit lacking with things like a coffee plunger or tea pot for one. The lifts are a pain in the *^%#. There’s a nice sauna and staff really friendly :-)

We have wonderful stay in the Artique Resort. The rooms and facilities are well equipped. The view from the room was amazing and 2 min walk to beach. Parking is provided and with other facilities too.
One negative was found few cockroach running around. So, to the management please take care of the pest. Overall the place is Great.

Location is great. About a 10 min walk to Cavill mall.
3bdr apartment for 5 nights, 6 adults $5000. Beds were uncomfortable. Air-conditioning was ok but not great on a hot day, warnings about having it below 22 degrees as it is ducted. Our unit 2601 has doors to the balcony that did not open and close easily nor did they lock easily.
Furniture was outdated and uncomfortable.
Kitchen was not fully equipped, no cutting boards, thongs etc.
Car parking is a nightmare if you have a family car.
Elevators- felt like we waited at least 5 minutes Everytime we were in the carpark for the elevator to arrive.
We arrived outside of hours, checkin was easy enough. They hadn't given us enough towels, this was resolved the next morning but not great after a day of driving.

Artique is a great place to stay with everything you need to make the holiday special: pool, sauna, steam room, bbq, gym, theatre room.
Rooms are nice and clean.
Close to beach and shops, short walk to Cavill Ave.

We had a family of four 10 and 16 year old having the separate bedroom with their own bathroom and our bedroom including a en-suite was awesome. The room came with dryer washing machine and all the kitchen facilities the view was good on the 7th floor. The location, price and facilities here did it for us we paid $1300nz for 5 nights and a 10 min walk to the Center of surfers but far enough away from the craziness was good to. Good enough gym and sauna with a large pool and spa did the job. Really good for the price we paid I would definitely stay here again
