Title: Extremely Disappointed — Not Worth the Money Review: I am normally a very easy-going guest and have always left 5-star reviews. Sadly, this stay was extremely disappointing. First, the internet was not working. Before booking, I confirmed internet availability, but when we arrived, there was no service because the owner had not paid the bill. We were even asked to pay the internet provider ourselves. Coastal Rental Management was contacted more than 10 times, but no one resolved the issue. I had to spend around $200 on my own mobile data for the week. Second, there was loud construction noise from a site next to the building, which we were not informed about. Third, the cleanliness was unacceptable — many utensils, cups, and glasses were dirty and had to be rewashed. Fourth, the bathroom door did not close properly, causing water to leak all over the floor during showers. This was a serious safety hazard. Other problems included: Only one toilet roll provided for the entire week. TV not working. Lights going off one day due to circuit overload. For the premium price we paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

Great place! Right across from the beach with great views! We stayed in a very clean spacious one bedroom with kitchen. Arrive early to get your parking spot. Jonathan (duty manager) gave us great service at the front desk. Be sure to check out the 41st floor terrace! Awesome garden and views!

Location is nice, right on the beach although construction next door isn't ideal. Rooftop area is a huge plus. We booked a 2 bedroom suite which was large and spacious with great views. My main issue with this place is that it sells itself as 5 stars and certainly charges 5 star prices, but just isn't equipped to a 5 star level. While the rooms really are nice, the carpets did look like they need a deep clean. There was a previous guests cutlery left in the dish washer. Shower head was broken, beds are really not 5 star, but rather cheap and uncomfortable and nothing like a nespresso or coffee plunger as you would expect these days in a 5 star hotel, rather just instant coffee sachets. So you pay a lot of money for a 5 star building with 3 to 4 star fixtures and sub 3 star cleanliness.

I stayed in a "one bedroom apartment ocean view" and also lent a cot which is for a fee. It was very enough space even a one bedroom for a family of three. (Only in case, one of us is a baby.) The cleanliness is perfect, the amenities are minimal but not lacking. The views from our room are so lovely. We could see the ocean as well as the riverside. The location is also good to access the central city of Surfers Paradise by tram, which takes less than 10 minutes.

I’d stayed in One-bedroom Apartment with Ocean View (No housekeeping service) for 5 nights, which cost like $280 per night and there would be a $100 bond charge on your credit or debit card. The concierge service was so good that you could store your luggage here before checking in or after checking out waiting for your flight. In addition, you could also ask for their amenities such as bin liners, toilet papers and soaps for free, shampoo, conditioner laundry & dish detergent for $1 at the reception; you might need extra soap, laundry & dish detergent if you stay for a longer period. I did request for a room on higher floor and was luckily arranged to the suite on level 32. The landscape is absolutely stunning, exhilarating, panoramic, and of great value; you can see through most part of the northern Gold Coast clearly and some ocean and beach to the east. Furthermore, if you are unfortunate enough to get arranged at lower levels, no need to worry because there’s a barbecue rooftop deck on 41st floor that any residents can come; you can see like the entire coastline of Gold Coast from north to south and even a few stars in the sky at night if there are barely clouds. Moreover, it’s quite convenient that there’s an EzyGrocer and a restaurant on the ground floor of the building. The G link light rail station Surfers Paradise North is just cross the road but crossing the Y-shaped intersection is a bit cheesy since all the roads are wide and there’s no zebra crossing but sometimes cars just keep coming. To top it all off, I’d passed here for a few times when coming to Gold Coast and this high rise resort caught my eye. I’ve stayed in 10 different hotels in Gold Coast and this turns out to be the top 3 of all of these. The price per night is below average for its stunning view, amenities and quality, which is definitely worth a stay if you come to Surfers Paradise. Overall, it’s a 9.8 out of 10!
