Our stay at RACV Royal Pines Resort in the Gold Coast was nothing short of exceptional—a true five-star experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful, setting the tone for a beautifully relaxing getaway.
We stayed in the Executive Suite, which was tastefully designed with a calming colour palette, elegant artwork, and soft, warm lighting that instantly made us feel at home. One of the most comforting features for us as a young family was the pristine, plush carpet—so soft and clean that I felt completely at ease letting my 18-month-old explore and play freely. It’s a small detail, but it spoke volumes about the level of care and attention throughout the resort.
The view from the 19th floor was absolutely breathtaking—a stunning panorama that made every morning feel like a postcard moment. A special highlight was the access to the Executive Lounge, where we enjoyed fabulous breakfasts in a peaceful, refined setting, with attentive staff who made our mornings even more enjoyable.
The resort itself offers an impressive variety of entertainment areas and dining options, catering to both adults and children. The pool area was especially vibrant—perfectly balanced between fun and relaxation, with thoughtful amenities for families.
Our Gold Coast experience wouldn’t have been the same without this beautiful space. RACV Royal Pines Resort offers not just luxury, but warmth, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality that made us feel truly cared for. We can’t wait to return.

Incredibly good location, wonderful breakfasts, excellent views and quiet whilst sleeping despite lots of families with young children. Bonus there is free carparking within the vacinity and the gym was excellent with three training rooms, large dumbbells and high quality machines. Only complaint was the shower pressure. I had to use the gym shower to wash my hair as the pressure was much too low. Despite this, we will definitely stay there again. Very happy.

The staff at this RACV Royal Pines Resort were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate,clean and very comfortable top-notch amenities all around , and friendly,helpful ,attentive staff in all departments felt comfortable, and valued.. We also enjoyed the delicious nutritious breakfast each morning.
Please note Kalinda breakfast experience on all 4 days of our stay has definitely created a memorable and meaningful interaction that has left a lasting impression amongst all eight of us .We were welcomed politely each time, the customer service was excellent each and every staff member , cleanliness of restauramt like rest of the resort and high-quality nutritious food,we had lots of vegetarian options that we wanted .The staff were polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful dining experience. Please convey our appreciativeness gratefulness ,heartfelt gratitude to everyone .Thank you very much

We stayed at the Royal Pines Resort because we went to an AFL match at the People First Stadium - the SUNS home ground. Parking facilities for the stadium are poor and the Resort is within walking distance to the stadium. That solves the parking problem!
The Resort is surprisingly large and well equipped. The rooms are spacious with two double beds; there are two good sized pools, one specifically for children; and a large play area. The ground floor is dedicated to restaurants and we had an excellent dinner in the Italian one. A conference centre is attached and there was a kick-boxing match in progress when we were there. The tennis courts were well kept.
The main buildings are surrounded by golf courses as far as the eye can see. There is a chapel in the gardens.
Altogether it was a wonderful night.
