We had the best stay. The staff, all of them, were exceptional. The stay and play deal with all the theme parks was excellent and we will definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.
P.S. Great GF - coeliac awareness and meal options as well for our family member with coeliac disease.
P.P.S. Special mention to Krystal in the Lobby Lounge. Her service and assistance with my GF needs was second to none - thank you.

We spent a week at Sea World Resort and had such a wonderful time.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I want to give a special thank you to everyone for their great service.
The breakfast was lovely, our room was always clean, and the kids absolutely loved the water park and the theme parks.
We honestly enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to come back next year.
Thank you for a beautiful stay! 💙🌊

We took the Eat, play and stay. I highly recommend this package for family who got small kids. Very convenient. Rooms are clean, comfy and has a good location. Everything you need for relaxation is all in there. Got lots of options for restaurant which is sumptous, delicious, worth the price. We definitely will come back, my kids love it and also us parents ☺️.

Some of my experiences there:
* electricity goes off for over 4 hours one night from about 6pm to 10pm across the entire resort in peak summer essentially ruining one of the nights of the stay. Staff communication at this time is poor, no compensation for the lost night, when you have little kids who can't sleep because its so hot for hours it also affects the next days experience.
* when electricity goes off, I had already ordered food from one of the restaurants. After 30 mins, the waitress comes to say that they can't cook the food. We then scramble to find food elsewhere (because kids are getting hungry). Then, they add the cost of the food I did not receive to my end of stay bill snd tried to argue with me at checkout about it.
*The restaurants are all only semi operational. E.g. the Japanese restaurant was only doing sushi on one of the nights because the chef was sick. There are times you wait for over 20 minutes in line to order a drink from lobby bar because its understaffed at that time etc. The quality of food at the restaurants themselves other than the buffet breakfast was average across all eateries.
* Smokers area right next to rooms so smells like cigarettes down some of the main walkways
* seaworld itself since Id last been 12 years ago was exactly the same but with the breakdown of the amenities. No Dolphin show, polar bears all taken out except for one because of the heat (you'd think the enclosure would be built suitable to house them during a Qld summer) the one polar bear left should've been taken as well because he was miserable in the heat. No mermaids or anything like that to keep the kids interested, air con in some spaces meant to be air conditioned not working etc.
I wouldn't stay here again, wouldn't recommend it for anyone I know. Much better places for the same money.

I have been tossing up weather to give 3 or 4 stars. I spent 5 nights recently at Seaworld resort and we had a great time, so much so we are coming back next year but here are the pros and cons:
Pros: Beautiful grounds, plenty for the kids to do (even a kids disco on Monday night which was great), great pools for the kids, Easy access to the park, really well priced food and drinks surprisingly, lots of food options, always something going on. Our favourite spot was on the lawn of an afternoon, ordering drinks while all the kids played. Service was great and food was delicious. Best buffet breakfast
Cons: We were placed in a pretty old run down room (my sister on the other hand had a renovated one and was lovely) – comfortable but really needs to be renovated, I wasn’t too fussed as who spends time in the room anyway but worth a mention. The biggest issue for me which is why I was thinking 3 stars was the lack of shade around the kids play areas/pool. Also the kids water park area glass fencing is all frosted so even if you can get a seat in a particular shaded area close to the kids play area, you can’t see them as the glass is frosted. So I guess the expectation is the parents need to stand around the kids areas in the blazing sun? Also around this area is picnic tables and random sitting options but again no shade. Really hard on the adults and kids.
Overall the kids had so much fun, mixing with other kids and families. Great place and we will be back!
