We drove up from Victoria for our first family getaway with our 11 month old baby.
We got a studio room (room 9) and our expectations were exceeded. For the cheapest accommodation offered, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless and had everything we needed for the 3 night/2 day stay. Amenities were amazing and so much offered for kids and parents.
We will DEFINITELY be coming back here when the little one is older.
We would HIGHLY reccomend any families to stay here, even a couple or young adults would thrive! Absolutely amazing experience!

We stayed as a family of 3.
Having a restaurant onsite that's open every day is the great. It is close to lots of places to find great food out as well though.
The other thing they do great is the mostly free kids activities that run throughout the day, every day!
I wanted to love this place but didn't come close to it. It's not horrible but everything is just old and run down. There was rubbish through the splash pad where the kids played. No shade over any of the kids areas - splash pad, bouncing pillow, play ground, mini golf. All in the scorching hot sun.
The pools were ok but small and busy. The spas also had rubbish and undies in them.
The staff were hit and miss. A few lovely (shout out to the pool attendant on Thursday afternoon, the young man behind the bar, the blonde lady in the kitchen, and the lady in the golf car checking the kids on go karts were ok) and a few were grumpy and abrupt.
The rooms were clean as they could be but again just a bit old and run down feeling. The 1 small aircon wasn't able to do much cooling in the Queensland summer heat. We upgraded to a superior room.
I know it's a caravan type resort but we go to lots of these. It would have been fantastic when it first opened, the theming is there. It is just screaming out for some love and upgrades to make it great again and to compete in the market today.

Stayed here in a cabin for 2 nights in November. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It's handy having a cafe/restaurant on site. The meals were great. There is also a supermarket a short walk away. The cabins were clean and tidy with crisp fresh sheets and soft towels. I had everything I needed.

Stayed for 3PTag weekend. An absolute pleasure. We had 4 teenage boys playing and they enjoyed the pools and the spas. It was a bit too rainy to have a go on a couple of other activities. But next time. Bistro was serving yummo food. And had a couple of nice cocktails. But all in all recommended staying here. Over any of the other places to stay at in runaway bay. This is the place to stay!

Another quick visit last weekend with my daughter and grandkids. We normally visit on Halloween weekend as my granddaughter loves the parade that Treasure Island put on but we had a free weekend and thought why not!
Kids club was wonderful and entertaining as usual.
My daughter and I enjoyed a cocktail on the deck while watching the kids.
My grandson is intellectually disabled and the staff are wonderful with him. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always quick to offer a smile.
This is the best park for kids and also parents as they can relax knowing the whole family is catered for.
Oh and they had the Footy on the big screen on the park and there is always plenty of seating available or you can throw a blanket down on the grass!
Looking forward to our next stay in October for all the spooky fun!
