Friendly helpful reception person, but longer reception hours would be good - there's no staff on site in the evenings or early mornings.
Soap and shampoo provided. Good price compared to others in the area. Comfortable beds. Nice big room.
The road is noisy.
I'm my room there was nowhere to sit except the tiny table and chairs out on the porch, or some short stools inside, or on the beds. There's no fan or opening window in the shower to let steam out. Ditto for the toilet um, er, aroma.
The nearest shop is a bit of a walk but there's a vending machine near reception for emergency food. Tea and coffee and a microwave are provided in the rooms. No cooking allowed.
Not suitable for people who struggle with stairs. No sea views.
Nice and close to bus stops, but be aware that the bus to the airport is 777, an express - doesn't stop at the closest stop to the hotel.

Red Star Palm Beach is such a lovely, clean and affordable place to stay at. The rooms are fresh and roomy and have everything that you would expect to find in a hotel room. The location is perfect for walking to the beach, to the shops and to the nearby park and cafe. Reception is welcoming and helpful. Next time we are in Palm Beach, this is where I will choose to stay.

Unfortunately our room was filthy. Grime all over the remotes and light switches And the shower hadn’t even been rinsed. There was quite a lot of noise on the night we stayed. Great location and reception was lovely. The linen was spotless.

The room lived up to the price we paid, and the owner on-site was a lovely lady. It has the basic amenities including microwave, oven, dish washer, washing machine. We only had one set of keys for the unit, and the people who held the keys haven’t returned. She was so kind to offer us to go to another vacant unit that the clients had just vacated but hadn’t checked out yet.
We can definitely feel the hospitality here.

The beds were really comfortable and amenities definitely exceeded expectations, the rooms are very new and nice. Outside of hours check in was very easy.
The only comments would be that a) the parking area is a bit tight to manoeuvre (which I understand is hard to change).I probably wouldn't have noticed if a giant 4x4 hadn't parked in the adjacent spot (making it impossible to exit the correct way).
B) the room window wasn't plumb with the wall. Surprisingly no drought, but it may have let in more noise than if it was set correctly.
But overall suited our needs and was very much great value for money.
