As a solo, I was quite happy with just the room and a sink in it while using the shared shower/bathroom as it was very affordable. That being said, the twin bed room is only what I wanted and nothing else. They have other rooms with multiple beds/bunks, kitchen and even private bathroom but you need to book with with to request it.
Staff are super nice and the location is amazing about a 20 minute cab ride from OOL airport. There's a Cole's across the street for groceries, some cute cafes and a Japanese restaurant nearby along with bars etcs. I'm always going to shop a room here.
Be nice to the cleaning staff they are super chill.

I moved to Palm Beach a little over a year ago and I enjoy playing the Pokies at the pub. The service that I experience has always been good however the standout employee is Kyleen. ( not sure of spelling) .
She is welcoming and wonderful, she doesn’t suffer fools of which she encounters regularly, I have seen her deal with patrons and the security guards stand back.
The whole environment changes when she is working and she does not stop working from the moment she arrives at the bar.
She sings along to her great music and always has a smile and a happy disposition. It’s almost as if we are sitting in her lounge room!!!
She shows genuine care and respect to the elderly and vulnerable patrons and supplies cups of tea, coffee and biscuits without them having to leave their games and order at the bar.
If I owned a business I would pay her double and steal her from you.

Haven't been in the area long but attend the pub occasionally. I'm really impressed with a lady who works in the pokies bar. Her name is Kylene. If I owned a bar she's exactly the person I'd want running it. She goes above and beyond and the patrons love her.

I checked in on Thursday and checked out on Friday. My stay itself was great, and the service from the gentleman who I believe was the manager was professional and welcoming. He explained the $100 holding deposit at check-in, which I completely understood.
The issue arose after I checked out. On Saturday, instead of the $100 remaining as a pending transaction, the money was actually deducted from my account. While I understand mistakes can happen, my experience when I called the hotel was extremely disappointing.
The staff member I spoke with was one of the rudest customer service representatives I have ever dealt with. She barely let me explain the situation before insisting I didn't know what I was talking about and telling me to contact my bank. I understand the difference between a pending transaction and an amount that has actually been debited from my account, so her dismissive attitude was both frustrating and unhelpful.
It's a shame because the excellent service I received during my stay was overshadowed by the poor customer service I experienced afterwards.

I havent stayed there but the pokie room is the reason i choose this hotel.
The lollies, chips, nuts, hot choclates are amazing.
And the lady that runs the bar in the pokies (red head is hailarious) she really likes her job you can tell. She interacts with the customers and plays awsome music
