Tidy, seemed clean, no frills but comfortable. Level 2 was quiet. Reception staff professional but unfriendly. Onsite parking was booked out but street parking was ok on weekend. Mattresses not great, but water pressure in shower was very good. Good for sleep & refreshing between conference or tourist stuff but not cozy.

Getting in after hours is an issue because the intercom at the front door drops out frequently. Calling the number and asking for the front door to be opened didn't actually get it opened, we eventually got in with a delivery person to get our room key.
The room itself had great facilities, but the smell was horrendous. I didn't sleep well at all, because it smelled like a rotten fruit bowl in a portaloo. There was nothing to indicate there was any reason it should smell bad, but it really did and ruined an otherwise okay hotel room.

This hotel was a lovely place to stay at. Close to the shops, like Australia Fair, eating places, trams & buses. Nice clean hotel. The reception were very nice & helpful. They had a cafe in the hotel in the lobby area. Nice place to go have breakfast. It's open from 7-10 o'clock

Really friendly and understanding staff willing to go the extra mile for you, was able to extend my stay twice even in busy times. Comfy, cozy clean rooms with large beds very quiet and private hotel. Thanks! 👌

Being positive and constructive are two key criteria when I review any places. Unfortunately, staying here was the most terrible experience i have had in along time. I couldn't understand why they got 4 stars with such poor customer service.
The front door locks after 700pm, incrediable hard for late check in, but we arrived at 645pm and the door was locked.
We asked for addtional pillow and an iron, but no room service until the next day. There were no additional blackets or pillows in the rooms .
The room had a stale stench , we left the window open but froze during the night as there was no avaiable extra bedding.
We could not shower with the door open as the steam sets the alarms off, but then its hard to get ready with privacy as the steam is not evacuated ouf of the bathroom.
Room clean did not happen until after 300pm the next day.
We called for another pillow and on was thrown on the bed and the room not attended to at all.
The following day the rooms was attended to but the linen was pulled up like a teenager would have made the bed.
We had a five day stay and we did not have a linen change at all even though we had unfrotnuately spilt some coffee on the top sheet. The benches had not been wipe, one clean glass replaced but the other two dirty cups and glass left behind. This occured on all 5 days.
4 clothes hangers are hung right at the entrance because they don't have wardrobe.
I know at $268 a night its not the most expensive hotel in the GC but really a 1 star motel would at least make the bed !!
