Went here on a weekday for lunch. We were very excited to see the dog/s but unfortunately the 6 month old puppy looked absolutely miserable and was enclosed in a small room just inside the entrance. We felt very sorry for her as her behaviour isn't one of a young dog.
The spot and view is beautiful but unfortunately the service and prices of the food let it down. We waited for just over an hour for our food, it is way over-priced ($30 for butter chicken that tasted like it was from a jar!) and the food quality isn't great considering the elevated costs. Nothing seemed to have much flavour. For the price that is charged for the menu items, you would also think that the waitstaff would bring cutlery to the table when they eventually bring the food. We didnt realise we had to get it ourselves as we had ordered through the table's QR code. All in all, a pretty disappointing experience. Except for the view and the surrounds which is all beautiful.

I had the pleasure of officiating a wedding this week at this beautiful venue. Bec, the wedding planner, was fantastic to work with and very well organised. The outdoor setting for weddings is stunning, with an amazing view of the Hinterland and Gold Coast as a backdrop. And the special touch for the day was the resident Saint Bernard pooch who was the ring bearer. I highly recommend St Bernards Hotel for couples desiring a wedding day to remember.

Had such a great experience! Angel was amazing, so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She really made us feel welcome and the whole place had such a great atmosphere.
Finch was awesome too and somehow remembered our order every single time, which was seriously impressive. Euan was also a legend, super friendly, cool and ridiculously tall 😂
And of course, getting to meet and pat Josie was a highlight!
Great people, great service and a really enjoyable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Have been going to this place for years and absolutely love it! Amazing views, beautiful scenery and amazing nature around. The food is pretty decent as well, but only problem is the beers on tap. Its just the usual same old beer you'll get at any pub, like your stone n wood, great northern etc. They need more and better options. If I drive nearly 2 hours away from home to a beautiful pub, I dont wanna taste beers I can get at the local pub near me.
Some craft beers and maybe a couple common beers would be great. Just a wider selection I think is what is needed for this amazing joint. Other than that, great place!

Had a great experience at St. Bernard’s on Tamborine Mountain. The food and atmosphere were excellent, but the staff really made the visit.
Terri is an absolute legend—friendly, welcoming and the kind of person who genuinely makes you feel looked after. Joe was great as well; easy to chat to, professional and helped create a really relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Mai was also lovely and friendly.
It’s staff like these that keep people coming back. Management should be proud to have such a great team.
We’ll definitely be back!
