My partner ordered crumbed snapper, I wanted flake- none available but got 2 chicken tenders instead with small chips & 2 potato scallops. They had also thrown in 2 crumbed prawns.
Everything but the chicken was overcooked, it was so dark it was awful, tasted burnt. I pulled the batter off the potato it was that burnt. The chicken tenders were the frozen kind, so a formed product 🤮 Why are the chips yellow??? Even the chips were ordinary.
We had already left the area to find a nice place to eat.
Don't worry about calling your potato scallops potato cakes because you're from Vic, just don't overcook them!

Outstanding food, I don't remember ever having better fish and chips plus the calamari was amazing! Live an hour away but worth the drive. Definitely coming back, the owner made us feel very welcome and it was great to see a good sized seating area at a fish and chips takeaway so you can have a beer as well.

Fragrant and tasty fish and chips, tender and delicious calamari, friendly and swift service, comfy cushioned chairs for those waiting for a takeaway, lovely sea breeze, solid wooden tables.

Outstanding fish and chips, best we've eaten on the Gold Coast. We by-pass 2 other fish and chips shops at Paradise Point to go here. It's our go to now. The others can't compete on flavor, cooking, and lovely non greasy chips. The new owners are very helpful, cheerful and great to deal with. Highly recommended.
