Visited here with my sister and her partner while over from NZ. They highly rate the place and it didn’t disappoint I went for one of their specials (I believe they change regularly) a chicken dish very tasty and well presented great naan and coconut rice. It was very busy but the food came out in good time. Friendly staff and some good local beers were nice too.

We ordered the aloo tikki and cigar rolls based on the assistant’s recommendation — both were absolutely delicious! For mains, we had the medium-hot Tawa paneer with rotis. Although the Navratna korma was a good option, we might try something different next time. Overall, the Indian food was flavorful and satisfying. The staff were friendly, and one lady dressed in traditional Indian attire added an authentic touch to the restaurant’s atmosphere.

Me and my wife have come here about 5 times now and every time we dine here the food is incredible, meat is way too tender and the flavour is unmatched with plenty of other Indian restaurants.
Great job guys!

If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Ginger Indian Gourmet in Upper Coomera is a must-visit! We recently tried their Lacha Paratha and Kadhi, paired with rice, and were thoroughly impressed. The Lacha Paratha was perfectly flaky and layered, complementing the Kadhi, which had the ideal blend of spices and rich, comforting flavors. Their rice, too, deserves a special mention – light, fluffy, and cooked to perfection.
What really sets Ginger Indian Gourmet apart, though, is their hospitality. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home with their attentive service and genuine smiles. It’s clear they take pride in providing not only great food but also an exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Indian food with a personal touch in Upper Coomera.
