If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Ginger Indian Gourmet in Upper Coomera is a must-visit! We recently tried their Lacha Paratha and Kadhi, paired with rice, and were thoroughly impressed. The Lacha Paratha was perfectly flaky and layered, complementing the Kadhi, which had the ideal blend of spices and rich, comforting flavors. Their rice, too, deserves a special mention – light, fluffy, and cooked to perfection. What really sets Ginger Indian Gourmet apart, though, is their hospitality. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home with their attentive service and genuine smiles. It’s clear they take pride in providing not only great food but also an exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Indian food with a personal touch in Upper Coomera.

Visited for the first time on Sunday night to order a takeaway. Staff were very friendly and helpful when taking our order . Offered us a cold drink of water while we waited as it was a very hot night . Food came out promptly and when we got home it was all correct and well packaged. The food was delicious, we had beef vindaloo , madras chicken with saffron rice, coconut rice with a side order of onion bhaji and nan bread. This will be our new regular Indian restaurant from now on we can’t wait to try more from the menu

Visited this restaurant based on the reviews as I was looking for a nice date night restaurant and this was perfect! I love that it’s in the most unassuming spot (located amongst a shopping complex with Cole’s etc) and just on the corner with plenty of parking options - no fuss, so easy! They have a great online booking system and upon entering the place the ambience is warm and inviting. Dim lights, nice classy decor but also giving a casual feel. We ordered a few starters - the Samoas were honestly out of this world! Probably the best I’ve tasted in my opinion. We also ordered these spring roll looking things (soz forgot what it was called) as it was a chefs special starter and they were also delicious (we ordered it upon recommendation). For the mains we ordered the mango chicken (hot) the Goat curry (mild), coconut rice, a mix of garlic/garlic & cheese naan bread, some Poppadoms. My husband absolutely loved his mango chicken. He loves Indian cuisine more than me and was highly impressed. The Goat curry paired well with the coconut rice for me and I was happy to get a take home since we had some leftover. And while I did enjoy it at the restaurant, the next day it tasted even better 😆It went from an 7 to a 10 for me. The Poppadoms however were a bit too fancy for me though (I prefer the basic normal one - not fancy seeded ones) and they were not as crunchy as I prefer. But I did enjoy the naan bread 🤤I also tried the Lychee Martini cocktail and it was delish! I love that this is also family/child friendly and the service was excellent. It’s not cheap but I would definitely come back for another special occasion with my family. Great for date nights, groups of friends, families and special occasions that you want to keep semi casual!

After seeing great reviews on Google, my group of four traveled 20km to try out this place, and I must say, it was definitely worth the drive! It's not easy finding good quality Indian food on the Gold Coast, but the curries we tried were absolutely amazing. Each dish had its own unique flavor and character. For starters, we had the Murg Habibi and Banarsi Kabab, which were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of smokiness and juiciness. The only downside was that the dip that came with the starters was a bit diluted. For the main course, we tried the Chicken Bhuna, Goat Curry, and Creamy Black Lentils, which were all fantastic. The Dal was particularly outstanding, even compared to the meat dishes. We were especially delighted to see Roomali Roti on the menu, as it's a rare find in Indian restaurants in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience and will definitely be visiting this place again.
