This has to be the best sushi train on the coast. Always consistent, always tastes fresh and the staff are always friendly
The sushi itself is so good, we have been here too many times to count now and will continue to go. It's just such delicious food.
Easy to order if what you want is not on the train itself. I highly recommend the volcano range, but there is really something here for everyone

Popped in for a quick lunch. Seated ourselves - no staff welcomed or directed us where to sit. The food was fresh and delicious! Some dishes looked like little works of art. Ordered drinks via the QR code at the table which were delivered to the table by the little rover. Flagged a staff member to come to the table when we were ready to leave, who noted our plates/drinks, gave us the paper and we went to the front to pay.

Fresh food, great customer service, variety of plates and they always experiment with new dishes.

Have been here multiple time. Service is good and the food tastes good and fresh. Always enjoy coming here and having sushi. It is always very busy so wait times can occurr but never excruciatingly long. Just something to keep in mind. The 2 people booth are quite narrow and room is limited when eating a bunch of sushi. Food is quite price when compared to other trains.

My partner and I came here for a quick dinner about an hour before closing. We had around 10 plates in total between the two of us. The first few visits (last year and earlier this year) were great overall. However, recently, when we walked in, we felt a death glare from the kitchen staff and waiters. After we sat down and started eating off the train, a staff member came up to all the tables, including ours, asking if we wanted anything because the kitchen would be closing soon. She had the coldest look on her face. The first time this happened, I tried to be sympathetic, thinking it had been a long day and she was tired. But the second time (today), her tone and attitude were still cold, and the atmosphere around her felt suffocating.
The food is fine, nothing fancy.
I would love to come back, but the unwelcoming feeling really ruins the experience.
