I recently visited and was thoroughly impressed! The restaurant has a lovely, clean ambiance that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The butter chicken itself was absolutely delicious – perfectly sweet and creamy, with tender pieces of chicken. The service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend the restaurant for a delightful dining experience! My highlight is the naan breads point of difference spinach, cheese & garlic I will be back

We recently visited Gills Indian Cuisine in Coomera City Centre and overall had a really positive experience. This Indian restaurant offers a good variety of authentic dishes including curries, biryanis, tandoori items and freshly made naan, all prepared with fresh ingredients in a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Q: How was the food quality and flavour?
A: The food was really tasty and full of flavour. Our curries were well spiced and rich, the rice was perfectly cooked and the naan was fresh and soft. A lot of diners mention the butter chicken and coriander chicken as favourites, and others talk about how meals like paneer curries are consistently enjoyable.
Q: How was the service and atmosphere?
A: The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout our visit. The vibe is relaxed and inviting, a nice balance between casual and a sit-down experience. Several reviews online also note friendly service and helpful staff.
Q: How was portion size and value?
A: Portions were generous and great for the price, especially when sharing dishes or ordering family meal deals, which they often promote.
Q: Anything to improve?
A: While our experience was largely positive, some other reviews online comment on inconsistency in flavours or occasional dishes that feel less authentic. However, this seems occasional, and many customers still return for the overall quality and variety.
Q: Would you recommend Gills Indian Cuisine?
A: Yes! If you’re in Upper Coomera and craving Indian food with a good range of curries, biryanis, tandoori and vegetarian options, Gills is definitely worth a visit. The friendly service, generous portions and robust menu make it a solid choice locally.

I adore! I mean really love indian food and if you were new to it, you wouldnt bother coming back.
Last nights dinner was Garlic n cheese Naan (the only tasty thing we received), Saffron rice, Papadms.. the main was butter chicken had 7 peices of chicken (come on 7 peices when chicken is a cheap protein). We actually called this soup! I cannot say loudly enough, such a really poor meal for the cost. Also the number is actually registered to a Kabab shop on the dial ID when we ordered and they were rude when I asked who I had actually called. We wont be back!

I was welcomed personally by the owner, which already made the experience feel warm and genuine. On his recommendation, I tried the Butter Paneer Masala, and it was outstanding rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The food came within 15 minutes, piping hot and fresh.
The ambience is beautiful, with a calm atmosphere that makes dining here enjoyable and comfortable. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The food was so good that I found myself coming back the following week.
Highly recommend this place if you’re after authentic Indian flavors, great service, and a welcoming environment.
