I had an absolutely terrible experience at Paradise Massage, and I strongly advise others to stay away.
I paid for a 40 minute session, expecting a professional and relaxing experience. Instead, I was met with complete disorganisation and a shocking lack of professionalism.
As I was getting undressed and preparing to lay on the table, the massage therapist kept opening the curtain, invading my privacy. Then, while I was already on the table without clothes on, she came in and said she had double-booked my appointment and asked me to come back later. When I told her I couldn’t because I had other plans, she insisted that she had another appointment to do. I asked for a refund, which she refused, only offering a voucher, completely useless to me since I don’t live in the area.
Reluctantly, she decided to proceed with my massage, but just minutes into it, something absolutely unacceptable happened, a MAN opened the curtain and started talking to her while I was lying topless on the table, not only letting himself in, but exposing me to anyone else in the waiting room! This was a complete violation of my privacy, and I felt humiliated and unsafe. I told him to get out and the lady said “oh no no he’s the owner” and I said, I don’t care who he is, GET OUT, I have no top on!!
On top of all of this, the massage itself was horrible. The therapist had no idea what she was doing, her technique was erratic, inconsistent, and completely unprofessional. She would squeeze my shoulders once, then rub my back, then randomly press her elbow into my lower back, and then squeeze my shoulders once again, it was all over the place. It felt like she had no training whatsoever.
This experience was not only awful but also deeply uncomfortable and unacceptable. A massage business should prioritise professionalism, customer care, and above all, privacy and respect for their clients. Paradise Massage failed in every way. I will be making a formal complaint and report about this too.
Avoid this place at all costs!
Edit: the reply from the business is repulsive and misleading. I did NOT arrive ‘early’ for my appointment, I was a walk in and didn’t have an appointment. I asked if she had time for a 40 minute massage and she said YES. THEN SOMEONE ELSE came in who had an appointment but the lady didn’t write down her appointment. This ‘disruption’ had NOTHING to do with me. The curtain wasn’t ’left open’ the owner OPENED IT and spoke to the lady. You absolute liars! I am consulting a lawyer.

Finally found an excellent massage therapy, very professional and qualified, Isabel was outstanding. Very busy though relaxing and always calming. Highly recommended . Will recommend and be back.

I relocated myself to Nerang a few months ago and have been trying to find massage place nearby that are very skilled, and I'm with a longstanding massage habit. The weather in GC has been strange since last November, and my back and knees were aching, so I'm very thankful to Elvira for fixing my problem! The therapist Elvira communicates carefully, gives me the right treatment plan based on the symptoms I provide, and gives me good advice on lifestyle habits. Her massage skills are excellent and I will definitely be a regular customer of Paradise Massage Nerang!
