Booked in for a facial with my bestie on a rainy girls weekend. Booking experience was great, greeting was lovely. Steam room was amazing. Relaxation room was sweet - not the best view but still a nice touch. Told my therapist I had very sensitive skin and had been burnt by acidic products in a previous facials so please avoid acidic products. Facial itself was an amazing experience but a lot of the products made my skin tingle and burn. My therapist was very patient and removed them straight away. I could smell the citrus in the products so I’m pretty sure they were acidic in nature. As we were escorted out, my friend’s therapist proceeded to make me feel like it was my fault that the products made my skin burn. I’m now hesitant to ever have another facial anywhere because she made me feel so bad because “their products are all natural and shouldn’t cause that reaction”. I felt like a bit of a freak. Overall, a good spa experience however I walked out feeling like I had been scolded for having sensitive skin. Probably won’t go back there. I’ve had many facials at 5 star resorts around the world and have never walked away feeling anything but relaxed. I would still recommend this spa but if you have sensitive skin, maybe think twice.

My partner and I booked into SpaQ for the start of Australia Day weekend with a couples package comprising of an hour massage and a 30 minute extra treatment. We started with the sauna which was awesome and the massage was amazing too! Best way to start a weekend away and big thanks to the staff for making us feel welcome and well looked after!

What an amazing experience. Sarah was delightful, explaining everything upon arrival and even changing up my treatments slightly to accommodate. I had a 3 hour, Pure Gold package and Mekaela was an outstanding therapist with magical hands. The whole experience was absolutely blissful, my skin is glowing and I was so relaxed.

We were greeted by the friendly Carla on arrival who kindly went through the process of our treatment . We enjoyed the steam room prior to our 2 hour Rejuvenation Spa Package. I was fortunate to have Mekaela as my therapist who performed the best spa treatment I have ever experienced. From start to finish I was transported to Cloud 9 with her professional and as requested firm delivery of massage
I would highly recommend both Mekaela and QSpa for anyone looking for a luxurious experience.

Definitely worth going if you go to the sauna before the treatment and have tea after. The massage technique was great I fell asleep.
